Migrate Site to New Server with S3

Hello. We hosted our files in our server and we plan to migrate into AWS EC2.
Our server is around 100GB (Uploaded Media). And we plan to just upload the WordPress and not the media files because the server can only handle 30GB of storage so we need to put our media files in S3 to be offloaded after migrating. (AWS S3 is a bit cheaper compare to upgrading server storage)

Can we manually upload the files in our S3 ? If yes. How?
I think that we should upload it like /wp-contents/uploads on s3.

Please help us. Thanks.
Planning also to purchase the pro version if necessary on migrating.

Get S3 Object Metadata from Post or Attachment ID

Hello,

For the Offload Media Lite plugin connected to an AWS S3 setup, is there a way to get the S3 location metadata?

The image is uploaded via the Media Library and I am able to see the corresponding files in the S3 bucket, under the key of:

bucket-name/wp-media/2022/07/1234567/image.png

where the “1234567” is some sequential value.

I am trying to hook into the WP deletion of an image, and I need to manipulate other files that are stored in the same S3 bucket location as the origin image.

Heavy Bug in combination with S3

Hi, you seem to have a major bug. I have the Pro Version. If you use multiple downloads and the option “Checkboxes with Button” in combination with the Woocommerce S3 extension, downloads bigger than 1 GB will not be executed. The downloaded folder stays empty. This happens for the Woocommerce settings “Force Download”. For the setting redirect only, instead of starting the downloads, the user is getting redirected to the front page. Also the download all Button in combination with the “links” option doesn’t seem to be able to combine several files where one of it is bigger than 1 GB

Its unclear to me from the docs whether existing files in the uploads folder will be uploaded to S3 or just newly added files. I have a lot of existing files.

I have installed “WPAdmin AWS CDN Setup” on woocommerce. I have created a CDN in AWS which is cdn.mywebsite.in

I also created a access key and secret key. But when i do list distribution, it is throwing error
“No cloudfront distribution found for cdn.mywebsite.in”

Can you please help here?

XMLWriter and SimpleXML installed but not recognized

When I try to configure backups to go to AWS S3, I get a message telling me my server does not have XMLWriter and SimpleXMLElement running.

When I check my server via phpinfo(), I find both the XMLWriter and SimpleXML modules loaded.

Can you tell me what to check next?
