I hosted a WordPress site on AWS Lightsail last year, and for the past year, it has been working fine. However, starting from last month, the site has been going down multiple times a day. Each time it shows an ‘HTTP Error 503 Service Unavailable.’ When we check the instance, the CPU usage is high. After rebooting the instance, it works fine again. I’m not sure what is causing this issue.
Below you can find error logs

I am sorry, this is my first question, I don’t know, what is causing the issue, so I pasted all error_logs
Could you please assist me in identifying the cause of these issues and provide steps to resolve them?
]]>Today, I am unable to login at all. It is saying the email address I set up is not a registered user and the original login info is saying incorrect password.
When I click reset password, it gives me the 404 page error, so I see it is redirecting incorrectly to 52.25.243.229/lost-password/. When going to the correct url: 52.25.243.229/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword …it allows me to submit using both username and the email listed on AWS Lightsail, but no email is ever received.
I also went into the Lightsail terminal, verified user credentials, reset the password using: mysql -u root -p bitnami_wordpress -e “UPDATE wp_users SET user_pass=MD5(‘NEWPASSWORD’) WHERE ID=’ADMIN-ID’;” and still am unable to login.
What am I missing here?
Thank you for your help in advance!
]]>I have setup my wordpress website using AWS Lightsail. I have done the whole setup and linked my instance to a static ip. I was working for these many days using the same ip address. But, today since noon I am not able to view my website when I put in the ip address. It says site cannot be reached, took too long to respond.
I have a deadline of tomorrow. Can someone please help me sort this issue.
Thank you.
]]>My site is hosted on AWS Lightsail (Bitnami). I tried everything but nothing has worked yet. I have been asking in Bitnami support forums too but haven’t got a response.
I checked using the SSH and found out that ‘MySql could not start’. Everything else is okay.
I also have enough space on my disk so that shouldn’t be a problem too.
I understand from my searches that this issue has a lot of occurrences and many people have been struggling with it. However, there are multiple reasons for this error to appear and I am unable to pinpoint what is causing the error for me.
Can someone please help?
]]>The other pages show the content but Elementor widget panel is empty and gray and there are lots of errors on the Javascript console (Cannot read property ‘data’ of undefined is shown as the page loads and every click produces Cannot read property ‘getContainer’ of undefined).
When I want to edit a page, I must either set it as the homepage or click Quick Edit and set its status as Draft.
It’s tedious to keep doing that in order to edit pages. How to fix that, so that all pages would be editable, not just the one set as the home page or status=draft?
]]>I have tried various way to change the network admin email from [email protected]
to my own email but I couldn’t get it done.
I have ran;
mysql -u root -p bitnami_wordpress -e “SELECT * FROM wp_users;”
in the bitnami console and it only show 1 user exist which is my own email (not [email protected]).
Does anyone experience this issue and found a solution?
]]>I messed literally everything related to this website up. I have an AWS Lightsail instance and I was trying to get an SSL certificate and ended up editing the .htaccess and wp-config.php files, as well as a bunch of other stuff. Now my website has a little lock icon next to the address bar, but it keeps showing me ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS. My code is a mess and I want to just start over and get rid of everything except my domain name. How do I delete my website without being able to get into it or the wp-admin dashboard? And do I need to delete my aws lightsail instance and create a new one?
My main aim is to just start over and do it right, now that I kind of know what to do. I just don’t know how to revert all the changes I’ve made.
Please help!
