AutoSSL Not Retrieving/WordPress Redirect

I have my site url and install directory set to https:// but my certificate with Comodo using AutoSSL(retreived every 90 days) won’t retrieve a new cert. It’s giving me the following error from cPanel:

The validation required 1 HTTP redirect, but the AutoSSL provider “cPanel (powered by Comodo)” does not permit HTTP redirects. When the system accessed the “https://huntsvillerenter.com/.well-known/pki-validation/B9210BD699B0064AE018CAE49D948406.txt” URL, it redirected to the “https://huntsvillerenter.com/.well-known/pki-validation/B9210BD699B0064AE018CAE49D948406.txt” URL.

I’ve contacted my firewall company and they set it to bypass the firewall for certificate retrievals. I’ve also contacted my hosting company who’s manually retrieved it for me. They’ve said to inquire if it’s a WordPress issue. Has anyone else had this problem?

AutoSSL Comodo Certification Retrieval Issue

Hi,

My site’s having trouble retrieving the AutoSSL for the site. I have 6G enabled but 5G disabled. It seems there’s a code stopping COMODO. I’ve disabled the plugin and seeing if it will validate the domain and retrieve the cert.

With AutoSSL and my hosting provider, we can choose between Comodo, Let’s Encrypt, and another provider, Fleet something. Is there a way to fix this without me having to edit the .htaccess file everytime the plugin updates or I deactivate and then reactivate the plugin if I’m doing maintenance on the site?

FYI on 5G blacklist and CPanel AutoSSL

If you use Cpanel AutoSSL and Comodo turn OFF 5G blacklist. It includes a block for Comodo and all attempts to assign a SSL will fail, giving your site a warning and possible threat page.

After way too much time on support with my hosting provider, I was able to get assistance from CPanel.

iThemes Security blocks Let’s Encrypt AutoSSL!

Ok, I LOVE iThemes Security, but there’s a setting in the .htaccess somewhere that’s blocking AutoSSL from running and creating SSL certs for my sites.

Can you guys please add an option to allow autoSSL?

Amazon Zon AWS Cloudfront CDN gateway error autossl server

We are testing your cache plugin and this is the error

It works fast without cdn

As soon as we try to use cloudfront cdn it gets gateway error won’t resolve

We were using w3 on old server and http it worked oky

When we moved to new autossl server w3 stopped resolving cloudfront buckets

After days with zero support we decided to try your plugin

REMARKABLE SPEEDS on cache now but low scores on pingdom we were 98 on pingdon with w3 and now 89 with your plugin but speed is now faster

Only issue is when we tried to enter cdn info for cloudfront it chokes gateway error and we can’t go further with your plugin for cdn due to gateway issue

We have multiple buckets of the site to try and some old buckets say contact aws

New ones with ssl enabled on zon say gateway error or timeout

Any ideas?
