I have set up an auto reply on a contact form, the form is sending an email to the website owner but not an Auto reply to the customer filling in the form. Please advice what the issue could be?

Using Contact Form 7 in www.xxxxxx.co.za -> when filled on the live site and in the form email field I put [email protected] (my test address) as the return address to the person filling the form. The email arrives at [email protected] no problem and I see [email protected] in the message portion. I’ve set up mail(2) in CF7 with the return address [your-email] which is the holder for [email protected] – but no email is ever sent back to peter1xxxxxx.co.za

Some hours spent with the hosting provider – all we could determine was that the auto response mail(2) does not even hit the server for auto reply

I am using :

WordPress ver 6.3

Contact Form 7 ver 5.8

PhP ver 8.2

Divi 4.22.0

Change year-text in auto-replies dynamically

In every email auto-reply, there is a text for copyright purposes like:
“Copyright ? 2019 – All rights reserved.”

Every year I have to change it manually for every form.

Can this be done automatically?

Like replacing the year with a variable:
“Copyright ? {{current_year}} – All rights reserved.“?

I’ve been searching the web for some time already but is there a way or an extension that can send people a second autoreply after 2 week for example?

So if visitors send an e-mail thru the contact form 7 form, they will get an autoreply. After two weeks there will be send a second (but different) autoreply.

Does CF7 provide a means for allowing users to choose whether they want an email receipt after filling out a form, for example by selecting a checkbox? I imagine that would involve letting the checkbox enable the Mail (2) settings, but I don’t see a way of having one control the other.

Hello,
I’ve set up a form that is supposed to be the first part of a survey. Everything works good except I can’t find a way to make mail 2 (autoresponder) send the email with the link to a second page where a second form sits.

User will be filling up form 1, should receive an email after 2 days asking them to fill up form 2 on page 2. Something that looks really simple, but can’t find out any solution..

Tried other plugins to work with cf7 but no luck in finding this or something similar to this.. any ideas? please?

As a noob I have been Struggling to set things up properly and after a monumental effort managed get it working. However, I cannot understand how to implement the below so as to provide a name (or dept) rather than an email in the Mail (2) autoreply.

To get value before pipe, you can use ([_raw_{field name}] ([_raw_your-recipient]) in the case of the above example).

So far I have been getting variations of the following

Dear Sam,
Thankyou for your request for a reading,
I wish to assure you that I will treat your questions as sensitively as if we met in person.
