I have 4 WPs installations on the same server but only one of them returns this error. Suggestions for fixing? This
]]>I maintain two blogs, one of which is an add-on domain on the same account as the other.
For both of these blogs, any time I try to install or upgrade any plugin, or upgrade WordPress, I get a screen asking me for the site’s FTP information. Is there a way to set this so it doesn’t ask every time?
I manage four other blogs on another host and they don’t ask for the FTP info when installing/upgrading.
Thanks!
]]>But, it fails with the last message being:
Unpacking the core update
The URL says: wp-admin/update-core.php?action=do-core-upgrade
What is the best way to troubleshoot this problem?
Thanks for any ideas!
]]>The 2.7.1 Upgrade says you do not have sufficient permissions to update plugins for this blog. (I update them all the time!)
I have all the access [admin] and I can do all the other updates and I know the passwords etc for running Stats and the like.
Tried deactivated All Plugins – no effect.
This is the only error message I get and it’s in a white box against a grey field (page background).
]]>I’ve updated manually from 2.7 to 2.7.1 and WP stills notices me about a new upgrade possible.
When I click to automatic update, it downloads, uncompress and then nothing more.
Anything missed ?
Thank you

]]>Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 41943040 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in Path_to_WebLog/wp-includes/kses.php(401) : runtime-created function on line 1
So, after reading here I renamed my plugins folders and created a new one. I then added and activated my plugins one by one and was fine until I got the error message again.
So I uninstalled that last plugin and all was fine. But, now I have 3 plugins I was using with 2.7.0 but can’t with 2.7.1.
I’ve contacted my host and my memory usage was increased to 64mb. I retried but still have the same problem.
Now, here’s where it really gets weird. I can install the plugin and my site works ok, but I can’t access the plugins page in my admin.
Any ideas?
