Auto approval and auto login

Hi, I’m a new user and trying the default registration form and selected the option “Auto approval and auto login” to keep things simple. The plugin is working except when [any] new user logs out and tries to log back in WordPress will not accept the password. I must go into their profile as Admin and reset their password then they can log in again. Anyone else have this issue? Maybe I’m missing something in the documentation?

I installed the User Registration & Membership plugin yesterday and it looks great. I created a basic logon form and put the shortcode into a login page. Comes up fine and successfully adds a user that shows ‘waiting email confirmation’ in wp.

In the email from the site, I click the link and it comes up with the logon page. I enter my login and it comes up with ‘Error: your account is still pending approval……

I set it to auto approve on verification. I have checked all the settings I can think of. The site email address is getting the email just fine as well.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated…

After the last update, all registrations are being auto approved.
I need the admin approval feature to work again.

It was set to NO, but I still have to approve Bookings, how can this be set to AUTO ?

Bookings will not be confirmed until the event administrator approves it. This setting is not applicable when using payment gateways, see individual gateways for approval settings.

Auto approve front end event submission

I would like to use the front end event submission because is very easy and clear, but there is a possibility to auto approve events? If the submission is made by an admin I think that would be great that the event will be auto approved.

Comments going into SPAM folder, and auto-approving twitter comments

But, a couple of issues.

1. If I run the plugin manually — from the Settings page — I always get:

Duplicate comment detected; it looks as though you’ve already said that!

Obviously the tweets will all look similar, or almost the same, though the sender/URL will be different.

What does this comment mean? Is it coming from the plugin or from WordPress indicating what it thinks is a duplicate comment?

2. This one may not be a plugin issue — most, if not all of the comments end up in the SPAM folder, when I have to manually go and remove and then approve.

Is there any way to stop them being classified as Spam, and then auto approving them?

The side effect of this, is that I (and other authors) get lots of emails asking them to approve these comments.

One author got 36 emails yesterday.
