Show Author Box, Posting Date and Category links

I was wondering if there is a way to display my Author Information, Posting Date and Category Links just like in normal Blog Postings. They seem to be missing with the Custom Post Type. Basically all “Meta-Information”.

I’m using WPAstra for my Theme, if that helps.

Author box doesn’t save “Open link in new tab”

Hi Hal,

First of all thank you for this awesome plug-in!

I encountered a small bug since one of the recent updates (not sure since when exactly). The “Author information” box doesn’t save the “Open link in new tab” checkbox anymore when I put a link in it. In other words, the target="_blank" information isn’t saved with the url.

I use this a lot so I hope you can fix this issue.

Author information cannot be edited

Hi,

This plug-in had been working great for me. However, I just tried to add a new testimonial and the author information field can’t be edited. Clicking on the field does nothing and no cursor appears in the text box.

I also checked my existing testimonials which have author information added already. The author information field is blank and also cannot be edited.

I already tried enabling and disabling the plugin but this had no effect.

Any suggestions for a fix would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I’m trying to remove the author information from the testimonials archive.

I’ve read some of the other threads relating to this on these forums but those questions were asked 3 years ago and I am using Genesis Connect with WooCommerce.

Since I do not want to type everything out, I’ve decided to record a 3 minute video showing what I have done and what I am trying to achieve.

Is it possible to get the Author Information on the Archive Page? If so, can you share how to do that? Here is a screenshot of the metabox I’m talking about.

Adding Author information fails

Hi,

When i add a new testimonial and try to set the “Author Information” in the “Testimonial Options” dialog then click “Update” to save my changes, then page reloads and the “Author Information” field appears empty. I have tried this many times with the same behavior.

Hello everyone, this plugin allowed me to realize my project and I thank all the authors of this plugin to have it created.
I installed the plugin and after setting it up I need to show the user information collected through this plugin as textarea, textarea-rich, avatars, registration-dates, text, and alre information. How do I display this information?

Hello,

This might be a really basic question, but I can’t seem to figure out how to add date and author information to my blog excerpts using the Twenty Twelve theme. I had modified the child content.php code to get the excerpts to display, but I am not sure what code to add to have the date of the post and author information display again.
