I have a custom taxonomy called “co_writer” which I use to simply tag a post as having been co-written by another author. The “co_writer” terms basically share the same names and slugs with actual authors. For example, John Doe (author) has a “co_writer” term counterpart John Doe.
I need a code that will allow me to also display on an author’s archive posts that have that author’s name used as the term for the “co_writer” taxonomy. So if John Doe has been tagged as co-writer in a post mainly credited to Jane Doe, that post will also show up on John Doe’s author archive. Right now, the posts only appear on the main author’s archive since I lack the code that will grab those into the intended co-author’s page as well.
Is this possible? I was told pre_get_posts might be of use in this case, but I don’t know how exactly I can make it work. Thanks to anyone who can help.
]]>I have noticed that the links to author pages are broken. If I click on the name of a poster on a listing, I get a 404 error.
I tried the demo on your site (https://demo.wpadverts.com/pro/advert-author/bob-advertiser/), and it also gives a 404.
Please advise.

]]>Thank you for this wonderful plugin.
1) Please, add the option to set rules for Author archives.
2)
Under archives, we can set each Category or Tag to have it’s own rules.
This is not ideal if the authors or vendors are adding new categories and tags.
You have to go and add rules for each manually.
It would be great if we could set global rules for archives: Category, Tag and Author.
How could we remove a link to the author archive page in the plugin output?
We could not find an option for it in the plugin settings or a filter in the plugin layout template.
Kind regards,
Martin
I am using PublishPress to add author boxes. The boxes appear but when you click on the See All Posts button the author archive is not correct.
Instead of displaying the posts by Teresa Taylor here, it displays all posts from a range of authors but pulls in the photo for Teresa Taylor.
What could be causing this and how can I fix it?
