Scrobbled 1.0.1 – Released

An update of the plugin Scrobbled has been released. For those who don’t know what this plugin does it grabs your rss feed from audioscrobbler and parses it. The big changes in this version are as follows:

Multiple instances allowed
Optional Cache setting for fallback upon grabbing / parsing failure
Template updates & functionality settings
Time parsing additions. Such as “Just Listened!”

Javascript and Posts

I want to add my AudioScrobbler feed to my blog page for music, but the feed requires a javascript that I can’t add because wordpress formats out the script tags. I have already read the help secion and it doesn’t help:

so I don’t know how to make it an external file and then upload it the way the help file showed because the audioscrobbler already is an external javascript.

ANY suggestions?!?

Audioscrobbler pulg-in Stopped Working

I have the newest version of WordPress (2.0.1), and I also have Ted Pearson’s audioscrobbler plug in installed. It was working up until a few days ago, and it just stopped listing my recent tracks. I haven’t touched the plug-in at all…

Any help would be appreciated.

Audioscrobbler/Last.fm plugin problem

I’m starting to cry. I have now tested 4 (four!) Audioscrobbler/Last.fm plugins and not a single of them working for me.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

First plugin to try:

Problem with it:
I put the files scrobbler.php, srcobbler-config.php and scrobbler-content.php in the “//wp-content/plugins/scrobbler?? folder. The folder and the files has the 755-permissions.

The thing I changed in the config-file was USER to my AS-name.

I didn’t put the js-file in WP because I already had one.

On my page is only shows “laddar…?? (loading…) in swedish (my change)

Second plugin to try:

Problem with it:
I have add the following code at the and in the footer.php (Using WP-defult theme) ?php do_action(’wp_footer’); ?
(No linebreaks) I add it after But I have tried to add it just before it. No change.

In my sidebar.php I add it just like this:
?php get_scrobbler(); ?
(no linebreaks)

The EZ-scrobbler folder and all the files I give the permission 777. When I tried som other permissions WP crashed.

Third plugin to try:

I got some other plugins like a RunPHP-plugin.
Can it be this one how makes trouble?

This plugin let you easly display most recently played tracks directly from your audioscrobbler profile. Plus, it’s got some extra features like linking to lyrics and generating table charts. More still to come!

Tested on WordPress 2.0, should also work with 1.5.x, but I didn’t tested it.

I’ve seen a 2 online, but the links to their respective sites are both now defunct.

I have a blog using a slightly modified version of Blix. The template works great but I would like to add a few features. Can anyone give me an idea how to add a “What I’m reading now” section (some amazon book pics and links) to the right column (under the feeds section) like they do in most versions of typepad? I would also like to change the default main area font to verdana. Which template or CSS file should I change?
