I have some serious issues on my site, I got 100 orders with the same email with the same IP and failed order
How do I stop this type of spammer on my site?
I already installed theWordfencee security plugin and blocked IP and user ID.
I already enable Recaptcha on my checkout page.
Is there any way to stop it?
Wordfence and captcha are not able to stop it.

I have change the login page,

block the access on my CDN except for France for wp-admin, login.php and account/lost-password and for my login page

XML-RPC is deactivated

So I don’t understand how is it possible and how is is possible that ” The last username they tried to sign in with was: ‘’.

Username is empty ?

WordPress Site Under Attack

I’ve been getting a lot of wordfence emails saying someone is increasing their attack rates, and wordfence is blocking them. so i went to look. I look under live traffic and am just horrified at how many IP’s are trying non-existent pages, the login page as well and just completely made up strings of characters. they’re coming from a lot of different countries and IP’s, and it feels like a full out attack. Is there any way of stopping this? Would taking down the site for a couple days help? It’s all bots. There’s some attacks that are 50+ in a matter of minutes and rarely more than 30 min without one.

Any thoughts?

Comprehensive functionality, Excellent Customer Support

We are a nonprofit and we have been using the Solid Security Basic for about a couple of years, and it’s the one of the most comprehensive and well put together plugin, for WordPress security. The plugin covers the entire gambit of security risks (vulnerable themes/plugins, local and remote account take over attacks, enforcing security best practices, adaptive web application firewall, user configured blocks, scheduled DB backups, etc). This type of functionality is an absolute must if you plan to put up a WordPress site on the internet in 2024. The plugin works with CDNs such as Fastly, or Cloudflare, with some additional configs.

The product is paired with excellent support. The support representative was patient, methodical and committed to finding a resolution for our issues, even though we were on the free plan. (Thank you Brent!). I highly recommend this plugin if your wordpress is exposed to the internet.

PS: What I would like to see them do better:

There are edge cases when the site is setup with CDN for the first time, which might cause issues with configurations being saved correctly. Addressing those would be a nicer experience.
I would like the plugin architecture to only rely on their central servers for Web Vuln Scanning and nothing else.
I would like them to have a feature, which shares attack fingerprints from the instances to their servers, to develop a threat feed which is pushed back to the instances for proactive defense.

My wordpress site has unknown outbound links which I’ll never give then I check it they’re from a post which I’ll never posted, so someone else has access to my wordpress site, then I install wordefence and do a scan there was a file which has a code which gave access to the hacker which was in functions.php in my active theme, and also there was a pages which are kinds of adds for slots I deleted it from Cpanel -> file manager there wass a folder in which there was files so I deleted that, and now there is a huge issues that my all posts and pages were linked with that Slots page and it’s now 404 but when I open posts there are no links to the deleted page but Ahref showing me that. I tried to make it 410 the slot page but it didn’t work and then I tried to open Yoast redirection tools it was showing that there is circtical issue on the site.

How do I block search queries like /?s= from being entered into the address bar?

I have facing this problem. What happen this attack or virus and how to fix this. I was troubleshoot that error, at that time I found the plugin and I delete the plugin but the error still happening. I forgot the plugin name that name start with ‘c’. Therefore pls senior wordpress developer can fix that error.

From 11 PM last night until 3:15 or so this morning we received over 1850 spam appointments. All confirmation emails we received looked like this:

There were about 10 appointments made per minute and they show up in Booking Orders, but they didn’t actually take spots away from the calendar. Any clue as to what caused this? How to prevent it?

Increased Attack Rate: Blocked for Known malicious User-Agents

Sometimes I receive emails reporting “Increased Attack Rate. Blocked for Known malicious User-Agents”. It’s usually the same IP and happens overnight. If Wordfence is detecting this same IPs (would change from day to day but usually the same IP or a couple in the same day), why don’t it just blocks the IP permanently instead of blocking attack by attack? Or can I make Wordfence do this from the Options? I don’t feel it’s very safe to just wait for an attack to block it if I already know the IP is malicious, why don’t just block the IP permanently or at least for a few hours or days?

But still, it’s not working and the login attempts continue to happen
