I know that technically each media library upload creates an “attachement page” and that is technically a type of post but I cannot see away to use that info to help me here.

]]>I think the “get_image_link” in the media.php is not working correctly. The link to my site with the offending attachment page is above. When I click on the image on that page, image id=2610, I expect to see a full size image of 2610. The results come up as an entirely different image.
Can someone please help with this?
I use a customized but it’s not a theme driven issue. I have tested this using WP twenty fourteen theme and the problem still exists.
If the problem is elsewhere, and not the get_image_link, or in the media file please direct me to where to look.
Thank you.
]]>Now I understand that this theme is not through Themeforest etc, this was actually purchased through thememonster awhile back and ever since I’ve been making additional edits to it but seem to have run into a problem either with CSS/HTML.
I’m currently trying to set an additional type box where i can type information over to the “LEFT” of the photo for description information rather than just under it. I’d like to keep the current description that I have under it that says “13,000 Sq. Fit. Apple Valley, CA” while also being able to have a description box to the left of the photo. The question is, how do I get the box information over to the left? Is there a specific type of HTML code i can insert and then type in what I wish to type?
I’ve set up these attachement pages from the gallery option and each “project” is set to an attachement page, not sure if that makes a difference or not, but if anyone can help me out, please. Could really use it right about now. Feel free to email me at [moderated – the forum does not provide support via email]. Thank you in advance and I hope i can find some assistance on this forum.
]]>When I create a gallery I make sure it’s set to link to the media file.
I have hundreds of pages with galleries that are all setup this way, they all worked fine until the most recent WP update.
Now wherever I have a gallery every image links to the Attachment page instead of the media file… I’ve gone into some of the individual galleries and triple checked the settings, everything is set to link to the media file, I’ve re-saved, even deleted and recreated galleries, and they still link to the Attachment page.
I’ve disabled all of my plugins (none of which are related to images or galleries) and the galleries still link to the attachment page.
Individual images inserted into the page work fine… it’s just when I use wordpress galleries. Any help would be appreciated.
