How can this be resolved? What is the solution to this issue?
Ideally, I would like to have an argument to wp_mail to choose if a call to wp_mail should return immediately and the email is sent asynchronously.
I am sending emails with attachments and it takes a long time before a page refreshes while it’s completely okay in my case for the emails to be delivered a little later.
Thanks.
PS: don’t know why Chrome Lighthouse and Pagespeed insights (online) always display different results, the Chrome version reports better numbers. But both are reporting this about CAOS.
I’m using the Super stealth upgrade, but changing it to ‘default’ without superstealth doesn’t make any difference.
When I completely disable the Caos plugin, super stealth and the ffwd license manager my page speed improves significantly (500ms less!).
I thought you said CAOS didn’t had such a big impact?
Please help, otherwise I must look for another option.
Which is a bit of a shame, since I just paid for the Superstealth upgrade
Shouldn’t the placeholder-image be hidden in a case like this?
Similarly, the asynchronous css loading breaks the styling when javascript is disabled.
Maybe this needs a regular stylesheet tag enclosed in tags as a fallback, i.e. somewhere in the footer?
First of all not sure if this is the right thread, if not I do apologize for it.
I’m currently building my website for a food delivery service, here’s the home page : myfitcook.fr
As you can see on the section there’s 5 days of the week written in french ( Lundi is monday, mardi is tuesday, mercredi is wednesday… )
Our concept is simple, we propose 2 different menus every day, one normal menu including fish or meat and a vegan menu.
When you click on another day, it sends the customer to another link with the corresponding menus for that day.
Now what I need is for the menu to refresh and update when the customer changes the day but without the page reloading and without the customer being sent to another link.
I would need every menu to be displayable on the main page according to the day of the week they click on ( some sort of display:none function, where the menu appears only when they click on a certain day )
Here is an example of exactly what i need : https://nestorparis.com/
On their website you can see that whenever you click on a different day like Lundi, Mardi or Mercredi, the content or the menu changes but the page doesn’t reload and the url doesn’t change.
I’m using divi theme builder and the menus are linked to woocommerce.
So I was wondering if there was any way I would be able to refresh different content on my homepage, and if there is how I would have to proceed to achieve it.
Thanks !
Have you ever come across this kind of behavior using the plugin on an asynchronous site?
The form loads, and it will trigger errors if you leave required fields empty (i think that’s just html5 required behavior), but that’s it.
Any help is appreciated. I only have this on my local dev machine so I can’t provide a link
last few week i’m researching how optimize site, there are one factor is social sharing icons loading slowly and it’s hurt page speed. so any solution or and custome code social sharing botton ?

I’m a current happy user of StCR but because I have a lot of comments and subscribers I am always exceeding my hosts 400 emails per hour limit. He suggested I moved to SparkPost to send these and I have set that up, but it does cause a problem. Whenever somebody posts a comment on the front end on a page with many comments, there is a 20 to 30 seconds delay as the page reloads and it often actually times out. This is apparently due to SparkPost servers being in the US on my site being hosted in Australia.
I’ve been trying to find a fix for that, preferably one that I can use with StCR, but I wondered whether changing to Comment Mail would be the solution? You talk of your ‘own dedicated asynchronous mail queue’; how does this work? Can I integrate it with SparkPost? Do you feel this would be a solution for me?
Hoping you can help, thanks, Bob

Use asynchronous versions of the following scripts:
https://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js
I have used Non blocking with async option in w3 total cache plugin’s minify settings. I have added above js script in js file management. But it could not help.
How could I solve this issue?
