ARVE compatibility issue

Hi there!

I have been using AIO SEO on my sites for a long time without any problems, but after recent update to Advanced Responsive Video Embedder (ARVE) plugin, I am not able to use it because of incompatibility issue with AIO SEO. This is the notice that I get within WordPress:

“There is compatibility issue with All In One SEO Pack effecting ARVE. With the AIO-SEO plugin active the “Embed Video (ARVE)” button will not work in Classic Editor. Please contact the AIO-SEO plugin support / support for pro users if they can fix this issue.”

Are you aware of this issue and can you please check and see what can be done about it?

Incompatibility with ARVE (WP Interactivity API inside admin)

I am the Author of ARVE, and I am using the WP Interactivity API for my settings page. Your plugin is causing the following errors when activated. I am seeing these JS errors in the browser console on my settings page.

An import map is added after module script load was triggered.
admin.php:1 Uncaught TypeError: Failed to resolve module specifier "@wordpress/interactivity". Relative references must start with either "/", "./", or "../".

Something that your plugin does cause this to fail, making my entire settings page unusable. I am only using WP native APIs and I do not think I am doing anything wrong. I would appreciate it if you can look into it. It works as soon as I deactivate your plugin. This was originally found out by a customer, and I just confirmed this.

I also get these errors on your tools settings page. The output of these might be related. Tested on WP nightly with PHP 8.3, but my customer for sure did use stable WP and probably a lower PHP version.

Is there a functionality in ARVE to pause the video using jquery?

When I activate ARVE plug-in, the Elementor’s Image Widget stop working and when I disable the ARVE plug-in all the videos on my blog are no longer visible.

Compatible with ARVE / ARVE Pro Plugin?

Sounds promising. I wonder if somebody has already tested compatibility with ARVE / ARVE Pro Plugins? Some features of this plugin would be very welcome on my sites, but to some degree there seem to be quite similar?

Resizing issue after most recent update

We have a widget on our home page using the [arve} shortcode –
[arve url=”https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLX6ChvO4t9b5Fq8qwQpKQgCTIrgduCx6M” /]
Recently, I believe after the 9.3.0 update, the YouTube video begins in full size mode for a moment before it’s resized to fit the widget. This did not happen before this latest update, and while the embed does finally resolve to the correct size, it’s an annoying glitch on our home page.
Can this be fixed?

Vimeo no longer works – Even after removal.

I added this plugin this morning. Did a config. Killed Vimeo using ARVE.

Next, I removed the plugin. Vimeo still gone. Can’t get it back. We rely on Vimeo heavily.

How can we get it back?

Arve breaks media insert in WordPress 5.2.4 MS (classical editor)

…except with WordPress v5.2.4 under multisite. ARVE is not letting the user insert media (Insert Post Element) and disables the Insert Element (media) button.

whitesreen of death update 2-12-2018

clicked to update this and the shield plugin at the same time. Then got the white screen of death. Nothing will load. Not the wp-admin, not the homepage, nothing.

Had to login with cpanel / ftp – deleted this plugin first, and then the site worked fine.

Looks like this update for arve is a bad problem.
