This is a good gallery plugin and does what I need it to do. I use this for the overview part of my Illustration Gallery. The rollover effects work nicely and I can link the pictures to individual pages with more info which is brilliant. I like the fact that I can build and edit the gallery with the actual page it is going on and don’t have to create the gallery separately. I would definitely recommend you give this a go and see if it is for you.

Mini Gallery in Lightbox question

Is it possible make a lightbox pop-up contain multiple images?

What I have in mind is to create a gallery of paintings with one image per painting in the gallery.

However, when a viewer clicks on a painting I’d like to pop to contain 3 or 4 views of that painting + (possibly) some text. These would be:
1. Main image (from gallery)
2. A view of the paining in situ (to give a better sense of scale)
3. A detail view
4. Another detail, or possibly the back (to show labels etc)

Text would be a description of the painting (Title, media, size, etc)

Just to be clear: only the main image for each painting would be in the gallery. The other images would only appear in the pop up.

I guess it’s a “gallery within a gallery”!

Is this possible? If so, how would I do it?

I’m looking for a plugin in order to:

– Create artists profiles with some basic information.
– Create art galleries related to each artist, including tags & customized metadata for each painting.
– A backoffice to manage the artist profiles & galleries

Does anyone know if such a plugin exists, or can be easily adapted from an existing one?

Hi All,
I have been meaning to make an art gallery to display my painting works and enable myself to sell them online as well. I’ve decided to use wordpress e-commerce plugin for the shopping component, am feeling at loss to find a free impressive theme

I am new so i don’t have ideas on designs which are possible, over all i need a theme which has an header where i can add my logo and image. Further I wish to have a nice border on the main content page, i have an idea in mind where i would like to show the web home page as a painting itself with a painting like border and varaious components act as different parts of it, any help or luck for me?
