Appearance tab and changing email address

On the RACCA Australia website homepage (I manage the website), if you scroll down there is a contact us section down the bottom. I need to update the email address, but I think I need the menu option or appearance tab to fix this.

I was wondering how to find the appearance tab? I’ve been given answers, but they weren’t very helpful, too technical and filled with jargon.

I’ve tried changing in via HTML and it works for a second, but if I refresh the page it goes back to the 404 error.

I’ve been told I can change it in menu navigation, however my appearance tab has disappeared.

If anyone can help me, I would really appreciate it. I have full admin access to the site.

I had an appearance tab in my dashboard, which included menu navigation. I was wondering if anyone knew how to make the appearance tab reappear? I have full admin access.

The custom menu editor on my site has disappeared. It used to be under the Appearance menu. Any idea where to find it, or how to fix this problem?

Theme options under the Appearance tab…. why?

It looks like a great plugin, but is a bit useless due to it’s position.

Why place the Theme options under the Appearance tab? I am building a site for a client who will log in as an Editor (quite common practice). They need to be able to access the options.

Wouldn’t it be more logical to have this in the dashboard with a basic permission setting to allow/disallow access for the various roles?

Custom menu not working

Hi all,

I hope you can help me setting up custom menus on the Grisaille theme.

The theme showcase shows that custom menus are possible with Grisaille, but when I click to the Appearance menu (both on the web version and Apple app) I do not have a menu option. In fact I don’t have a menu at all, just a ‘manage themes’ page which gives me these options: customisable / custom design / theme options / widgets

In none of these options can I find anything anything about setting up menus, but the theme showcase shows a site using Grisaille and with menus.

Can anyone help? I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, but I expect theres an easy answer. Having googled around the question I’ve checked my admin settings and there’s only one user on my site, who is the admin, so don’t think it’s a case of missing permissions. I don’t think I’m using any plug ins, and I’ve checked repeatedly on every option, gone through every item on the site dashboard and tried all of this both on the web version and apple app and can’t work it out.

Any answers would be appreciated!

No "Appearance" Tab despite Admin status

Please help! For some reason, despite my having admin status, there is no “Appearance” tab for me to use which means that I cannot edit my theme, edit my title, add widgets, nothing!

Any advice/guidance on this would be greatly, greatly appreciated.
