Hi,

We didn’t realize WooCommerce features a anonymize data function. And apparently it was set to a rather short period.

So now we see a lot of fullfilled orders with all buyer details anonymized. Is there a way to restore the original unanonymized data?

Ho una domanda. E’ possibile per il plugin fare in modo che, in caso l’utente non presti il consenso, Google Analytics venga eseguito nella versione anonimizzata (ovvero con ga(‘set’, ‘anonymizeIp’, true);) per passare in versione non anomizzata in caso di consenso?

I want to know – with absolute certainty because of the possible fines coming up – that if I use analytics and set ‘anonymize IP address’ – that visitors are not possible to identify by any means from the data collected by Google.
(if not – it is not possible to use analytics within EU law)

Google Analytics exclude IP filters not working on AMP

Hi,

I have filters for my Google Analytics view, the filter excludes my office IP addresses so my results are not skewed by my local activity.

AMP google analytics seems to have the var for Anonymize IP set permanently to TRUE. This means my filters are not working and including my own traffic activities and others from my IP.

So to solve this I need to set the var which controls Anonymous IP setting, which is – “aip”:”false” to turn it off, so my IP filters will continue to work as desired, excluding my own traffic.

How can I do this in the code? I have found settings in /templates/features.php around lines 728 & 1914 where I could edit to include the aip = false setting.

It would be nice if there was an option to include more vars in the wordpress settings screen, so I could control this with a simple setting.

I just have this issue in my website. I was looking for a plugin which anonymize links for not appear at the stats of third and any other domains. I’m not a coder… Just a Graphic Designer and customizer of skins in web projects… Then I found this plugin, but it’s descriptions don’t directly states if it hide clicks in the external links of my website, or not.
Do it actually hide and anonymize all the interactions and all that stuff?

Due to high data privacy standards, which I want to archieve with my website: Is there a way to anonymize IP-addresses/shortem them or not to show them at all in the dashboard? That would be super-helpful.
