Function of header is crawling in every anchor tag

Hi,

it seems since the last update this function is added to every anchor tag (#) throughout the site

The source seems to be your own from OceanWP here:

It creates different issues. For example all custom links with anchors (#) in menus are not clickable anymore and therefore won′t open. Also different behaviors throughout the site are triggered. For example in WooCommerce when Tabs are clicked the page starts scrolling to tab anchor. This is not a default behavior and none of my Funktions does that. Before the update today it was fine I double checked it.

Please fix this as soon as possible and stop propagation of this to every element.

Ive seen a frw threads with this issue but none has solved my issue. Im having a issue with a a url link containing anchor tag, it loads fine to the anchored spot then jumps back to top almost like page is loading twice? using Docly, elementor builder. Any sugegstions

Anchor Links Not Working

Hello And Good Day To All,

I am using Elementor in ‘wordpress’ theme to customize website. Currently, I have added an anchor menu widget to the ‘about’ section of the home page. I have gone into the menus section and added a custom link to url #about with link text ‘About Dr. Nurenberg’.

For some reason when I try clicking the link, the page does not scroll down to the about section. When I inspect the link, it doesn’t appear as a hyperlink like the other menu options do (they were added to the menu as links to actual pages and not custom links).

When I type ‘staging2.nurenberg.com/#about into the url search and press enter, it loads the website and scrolls down to the section properly. Just doesn’t work when I click ‘About Dr. Nurenberg’ in the home page menu.

Any help would be greatly appreciated and willing to tip for the assistance.

Force Advanced Tabs to open at the top of the window

I really love the advanced tabs and use it to show all my policies on one page, with each tab having different content (shipping, privacy policy, terms of service). The only problem is that using the direct link to the page domain.com/policies/#privacy works perfectly to open each tab directly, but in each case the tabs aren’t shown as they are stuck behind my sticky header. I’ve tried all the javascript/jquery snippets to open the window at the top of the page, but I can’t get anything to work (that I’ve found at least). What I need is for the anchored link to open the referred tab but at the top of the page like every other instead of the page being scrolled down only showing the content under the tabs.

We have some posts that have Yoast SEO Table of contents implemented using the block provide by Yoast SEO.

Yoast SEO Table of content link not working on mobile, but it is working on desktop, iPad pro. I think it is not working below 768px devices. How it is possible?

How can we solve this issue? Please let us know your feedback.

Hope someone can point me in the right direction. I have created some anchor text on a page (with a bullet list), but when you click the link to go to the anchor text, the page displays one line below the actual anchor text. I cannot seem to work out how to make it also show the text with the anchor. Thank you

Anchor Link doesn’t work/load

Hi there,

I am trying to fix some issues that have come up since I updated now to the latest WP (Version 5.8). My theme is OceanWP (Version 3.0.4).
Since the update my “Slideshow” with Fullscreen Images isn’t working anymore. When I would click on the Image, the CSS would be targeted to the large image and it would show. Now nothing happens anymore when clicking on the Image, this is only for this specific case, other anchors work.
Manually loading the page with the anchor attached to the URL works for loading the image: https://www.zeitgenoessische-kunstakademie.de/kurse/Landschaften-in-Aquarell/84/1/#course_image_anchor

Has anyone else had this issue or knows some scripts/styles that might cause this problem?

Links in Author Bio’s Info not showing anymore

Links from the wordpress user’s Bio Info no longer displaying in author box on posts.If you inspect the author info html, it shows the anchor tags have been stripped and replaced with $nbsp;. The links appear correctly in the default visual/text editor within the user’s settings where the bios are inputted.

Issue began after one of the last two most recent updates. I disabled all plugins but did not seem to be any conflicts.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

How to insert anchor in text

The plan is to have a list of contents, with hyperlinks that go to specific points in the newsletter. I can only see the option to insert hyperlinks. Is there an “add anchor” tool, please?
