Anchor Links in Button Make Text Unclickable

Focus on the button on the hero image that states “Find Your Agent” – site is otherwise unfinished and under construction

When adding an anchor link to a button that is meant to open my connectchat bot – the text in the button becomes unclickable. The background of the button will still launch the chat, but not the text on the button, which is where most users click, especially on mobile.

My anchor is #connectchat

I have tested with a standard URL and the button/button text reacts normally and is clickable.

Please assist.

I have a popup scheduled to trigger on all pages (once per day), but it doesn’t trigger if the URL includes an anchor link. Is there a workaround?

WP site scrolls straight to form

We just tried to implement a new form; when loading the page, the web browser scrolls straight to the form – almost like it has an anchor link.

How do I stop this? I have had issues with the whole of development of this page and this is last straw!

Custom ID Offset not working

I have the problem that when I add the id of an accordion in the URL of the page, when it opens the anchor link goes up and the content ends up under my sticky header. This was in a different topic which shows resolved…..but when I change the custom ID offset, it changes nothing. I have the same problem where you can’t see the accordion title that has the anchor link in it.

Issue with Anchor Link

I add anchor link to a product page and it is working fine.

However, when I am viewing the page, and click on the anchor link I see two phenomena’s:

A black bar is dropping down from the top of the screen, covering the header menu. The black bar contains the following:
“name of the page” selected
and
an “option selection” button, that doing nothing.
The text should be viewed by the anchor link is few lines up, and I need to scroll up to see it linked text.

What is this black bar? Can I avoide it?

And more important – how can I fix this text position issue?

I’m trying to create a menu link to an anchor (ex., https://example.com/#contact). Any link with an anchor will not work while in the mobile menu using your plugin. Please explain to me how I can get links to anchors to work properly. Thank you!

Anchor link to and open specific Tab

Hi,

I have Elementor Pro. I used to be able to link to and auto-open a specific Elementor Tab by giving it a unique ID and adding #unique-id to the end of the link.

However, I am now using the new version of the Elementor tabs. I can link to the specific tab, and it looks selected. But, it does NOT open the tab to display the tab content.

I need to add a header nav menu link (https://domain.com/page/#unique-id

Then, when the link takes them to that page is clicks on the Tab widget button and opens that tab to show its content.

Advanced Tabs Anchor

is it possible to change the scroll distance when setting an anchor tag on the Advanced Tabs widget? When I add the custom ID it scrolls below the tabs and you cannot see the tab title. I would like it to stop just above the tab title. Is this possible

Mobile menu not collapsing after click

Hello Everyone!

I don’t know if anyone has faced this problem, but somehow in mobile view, when I click on a menu item (anchor link) the mobile menu does not collapse. The view behind the menu jumps to the right section, but the menu does not disappear. When using normal links, the issue does not exist, only with anchor links. Does anyone know a solution for this?

Hello. All PS2ID settings correspond to the Elementor Guide (https://manos.malihu.gr/page-scroll-to-id-elementor-guide/). Anchor links always work – only mobile and within a page do not, e.g. via the mobile menu you navigate to about-us/#team and use the menu to navigate to about-us/#career. Please watch my capture:
