I have been trying to find out how I can monetise the AMP pages.
I have implemented the official AMP plugin

As per google admanager, one of the ways to insert GPT AMP ad code is through insert header and footer, which I have implemented too.

Request if you could guide me the optimum way of implementing the same and may be guide if I can implement more than 1 ad unit.

I’ve added the following code to my functions.php theme as an action for “amp_wp_post_content_below”:

However, when I load any page of my site, the “layout” parameter is automatically changing from “fluid” to “responsive”.

Is this something AMP WP is doing?

I’ve set a system to inject advertising to amp pages, via widget. You can see that here:

(Note: I’ve set the rule “is_single(46334)” in order to not unvalidate all amp pages)

Unfortunally the snippet <amp-ad width=300…>…</amp-ad> , becomes <amp width=300…>…</amp-ad>

What I’ve tried:
> the Classic Text Widget plugin
> the Custom HTML widget

> looking under the AMP settings for something that could cause the problem

How can I prevent the change of the <amp-ad> tag (inserted via widget) into <amp>?

In my amp page ads are not showing. I’m using paired mode.

Note: The AMP page will load properly only in mobile not in desktop. So please check it in mobile version.

After the recent update of AMP for WP plugin, we got the following AMP warning messages.

The tag ‘amp-fx-flying-carpet extension .js script’ appears more than once in the document. This will soon be an error.

The tag ‘amp-ad extension .js script’ appears more than once in the document. This will soon be an error.

I took a look at the source code of AMP page, and found the following scripts inserted by AMP for WP.

As a temporary fix, I deleted manually placed the following script for Flying carpet.

It also looks like the plugin automatically inserts amp-ad script, and we got warning on The AMP Validator.

After the temporary fix, the page passed AMP test, but I still got warning from the AMP validator.

Can you please stop automatically inserting extension .js script for AdSense AMP ads, or add settings to prevent from insertion of AMP ads extension script?

The extension ‘amp-ad’ was found on this page, but is unused (no ‘amp-ad’ tag seen). This may become an error in the future.

I installed all the necessary codes according to the instructions from Google and everything works, all the pages are tested in the validator, zero errors.
Many thanks to the authors of the plugin.

Never install the plug-in side, when checking other known like (AMP for WP – Accelerated Mobile Pages, AMP Supremacy, WP AMP – Accelerated Mobile Pages for WordPress, Better AMP – WordPress Complete AMP) got in the validator errors.
These errors are not eliminated by other plugins, they just pile up, the result of your pages disappear from the google.
