Woo Shop Archive thumbnails have empty alt attributes

Hi,

We’re using the Astra Pro Theme and WooCommerce and are running into an SEO and accessibility problem.

I’ve been doing some digging around and, I can’t find the reason why the Shop Archive page Product thumbnails don’t show the alt text that are on that product/posts meta. On the Single Product Page it will show the alt text but, not on the Shop Archive page.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Any help and/or information to why it’s set up like this and, how to either enable the images to show the alt text and not just an empty string or filter the output in the loop to add the alt to the image would be super helpful.

Resized images missing alt tags

Resized images don’t have alt attributes, and they can’t be viewed in the media library to fix it. Is there any advice from an expert?

Optimize images from builder made pages

Hi, I’m using Oxygen Builder on my site. When I setup the function to automatically insert missing ALT and TITLE attributes to my images it doesn’t add anything to the images from pages built with builder.
What can be the problem and how can I force it to add missing ALT and TITLE attributes to all images from my site?

Hi! I added an alt tag to an image from the media library, however when I went to a previously published post that already had that image in it, I notice my alt tag is not there.

Is there a way to update my image alt in such a way that the all occurrences of it will also be updated (ie when they are used in a page/post)?

Also, if I add the alt tag in the media library and then add it to a post, will it be present there or will it be blank (haven’t tested this yet…)?

Alt Attribute is Missing for Gallery Images

Hello,

No image will include the alt attribute within the tag, when being used with the gallery builder add-on. I confirmed all images have an alt attribute, which is used when normally inserted on a WordPress Page.

I’ve tried various settings within the options of the gallery, with no luck.

WordPress Version: 5.2.2
Responsive Lightbox & Gallery Version: 2.1.0
Theme: twentynineteen

When i scan with SEMrush it shows all Youtube images without old attributes.

Image elements do not have [alt] attributes

Having problems between Elementor Web design and WordPress Sync

Our site was built with elementor, but for some reason almost everytime I edit something with the WordPress editor, it makes my site lose its design. It gets lost or deleted, and I need to go back to the latest revision which means I can’t really make certain necessary changes to my site that elementor doesn’t have the option to edit. This has happened especially with image alt attributes.

Adding alt text to navigation icon/image links

The social links at the top of our web pages (Facebook, Twitter, etc.) have a title attribute, but no alt attributes. Therefore, they are throwing a compliance error. These links are icons and have no alt attributes by default and do not reside in the media library, but are built into the site theme. I purchased your plugin today, installed and activated it, then scanned my entire site. I ensured I had the setting selected for “Convert all title attributes to aria-label attributes.” However, that doesn’t seem to be doing the trick.

Any suggestions on how your plugin could help me with this issue? Many, many thanks!

I would like to know why Gutenberg has decided to kill the image properties panel and also to kill the SEO code that accompanies the images…
