Hey guys,

I have a clients website running a theme called “Albedo”. I haven’t updated the website in quite some time and noticed just recently the site is down.

I’m currently getting this error message:

Notice: The called constructor method for WP_Widget is deprecated since version 4.3.0! Use
__construct()
instead. in /home/farkin/public_html/navaho.com.au/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3624

Previously the site has worked fine so I’m a bit stumped as to how all this has happened.

Theme Options – tabs can't be selected

Hi,

I’m using WordPress 3.8.1 with the Albedo theme.

I want to amend my Slideshow so pull up the Theme Options page and whenever I select any of the tabs; General Settings, Colors, Layout or Slideshow nothing happens, the URL just changes with the tab i’ve clicked on being appended to the end of the URL with a # before it. For example, when I select the Slideshow tab the url changes to;

https://extremeaperture.net/wp-admin/themes.php?page=albedo-options#slideshow

but nothing changes and I can’t amend the slideshow?

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Fatal Error on plugin activation

Hi All

I am trying to activate the sell media plugin that I uploaded to the albedo theme. I have uploaded it via FTP and also via WP and my downloads folder. Either way I get the following fatal error message.

Can anyone shed light on this and how it can be resolved.

Blog posts only showing four on front page

Hello. so on my Albedo themed website at www.simplysuzyphotography.com It is only showing my latest four blog posts and will not let me scroll back to earlier posts like it should. What can I do?

Exclude featured images

I am using the theme Albedo from Graph Paper Press, which uses featured images to create links to portfolio galleries on the homepage. While I want the thumbnail of the featured photo on the home page, I do not want that image to appear in the body of the gallery.

I asked graph paper press about it, and they told me:

“In content-gallery.php, you’ll see this code: //’post__not_in’ => array($thumb_id),

remove the // part.”

I tried this approach, but it did not work. As I am mainly a photographer and not a web developer or designer, I feel fairly challenged in trying to problem solve this issue. Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

The top image is the featured image and the bottom is a posted image I would like to use as a link. I just need to find a way to get rid of that pesky top image and still use it as the thumbnail for the homepage.
