Plugin blocks access to Akismet Detail Page

I have the Akismet Anti-Spam plugin installed. When I enable this plugin (JetPack) and click Askimet and try to go to the “Detailed Stats” page I get the following error message:

Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.

If I disable the JetPack plugin, I can access the Detailed Stats page for Akismet Anti-Spam.

Please advise as I don’t want to disable this plugin every time I want to access the Akismet detail page.

Hi,

We are seeing quite a lot of spam and garbage entries on our contact and feedback forms (created via jetpack) and am not seeing any way to:

anything we can do to resolve, without buying a jp plan, the spam problem in the contact/feedback forms?
Again we have a (few) existing akismet key(s) available to us.

Hello, I have a contact form at www.johnwardmusiclessons.com

I installed aksimet to block comment spam.

I realized that with aksimet enabled my contact form no longer works. I have turned off aksimet to make sure customers can still contact me.

Is there a way to fix this, or another comment spam blocker that does not have this issue.

Do I need "Aksimet"?

Hi all,

My WP plugin section automatically has “Aksimet” installed? My question is: do I need Aksimet? And also- what exactly is “Aksimet”?

My website doesn’t have comments enabled, or a ‘contact us’ form. It does however have a newsletter sign-up.

My instinct is saying that I don’t need it (because no one can comment on my site)- but I just wanted to check that there isn’t any other benefits of having it installed?

I use wordpress 3.4.2 on Hostgator!
In last 2 days when i try to get new plug in i receive error:

An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with www.remarpro.com or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums.

Also Aksimet not work ( no network conection), tubepress not work (Couldn’t resolve host ‘gdata.youtube.com’) any network from site not work!

Akismet Stopping All Sending in Contact Form 7

I have a self-hosted wordpress site. I have all the updated plugins for Contact Form 7 and Akismet. I am also using WP-Mail-SMTP and Really Simple CAPTCHA.

All of a sudden, Akismet is blocking ALL incoming contact form usages. I have several different forms and none of them seem to be working in either IE or Chrome (oddly, they do seem to work in Opera). Every time someone tries to upload a new form, it blocks them, saying Akismet has flagged it as spam.

Any help would be most appreciated, as this is a really huge issue for us.

Good day,
I found all ready several topics regarding my problem, but I could not find a solution in the posts. So here again the question.
I find several spam messages in my Aksimet statistics, I really like to check the ‘spam’ messages but I can’t find them in the menu settings -> comments or in the Aksitmet settings.
I’m using Aksimet version 2.5.3 and WP software version 3.1.

Can you pls. advice me in what to do? Every month I see the spam messages rising and I think that some ‘none spam’ messages are marked as spam. The WP spam comments tab stays empty.

I see now Aksimet is charge for their spam filter.

I have an Akismet code on my old WordPress site, can I use that for all my future sites?
