I am designing a website for UAE client and i like this plugin so far but i am not able to show currency code instead of currency symbol. I want “AED” instead of “?.?” in currency. Please help

AED Currency Symbol not displaying in PDF’s

We are using WPML to handle the multicurrency side of the site. Unfortunately, when generating a PDF, the AED currency symbol (?.?) is not being displayed, it is either in question marks or just blank blocks. We have tried toggling the Extended currency support option, but still no luck.

When debugging, outputting to HTML the currency symbol is there and displays as normal.

MBString extension is enabled.

I think there is compatibility issue when it create the pdf with Arabic language. my website use AED and the display is: 60.00 ?.? however in the invoice it show like this: 60.00 □.□

Hello there,

Great plugin. Working pretty well, but I was wondering if the plugin could do the following (we checked and tried):
By default, the currency is Dollar. Everything should be displayed as Dollar except for the cart/checkout page. That should be AED. So we only got 2 currencies but on the cart/checkout page it should switch to AED and nothing else.

We got it working halfway but when you enter a product with dollar as default, add it, it should be switched in cart/checkout. Would that be possible?

I hope this makes a bit sense.

Please help . I also want to know is there any plugin that work individually for to accept payment in aed and that is using paypal express checkout.

i am using this plugin and tried almost all payment gateways but it is not showing AED currency that is for United Arab Emirates and i also searched for payment gateways that support this currency .. There are three gateways that support this currency but on selecting that gateways it is not showing AED currency Please help me regarding this i checked it for stripe,Braintree,2checkout and cybersource
