This is one of those plugins with still more than 50,000 installs despite the lack of support and updates (honestly it’s a bit hard to transition away from even if you find an alternative because you have to go through all of your posts that used it to replace it.)

Does anyone know enough to take over this plugin to test and apply security updates?

And since the author isn’t responsive … I’ve seen a few other plugins with a huge following have WordPress go through their process to allow someone else to take it over. But I don’t personally know how to start that process.

This goes beyond my current skill level but I wanted to start the conversation in case it could keep a good plugin alive.

In the individual animals pop up window:

– The pictures of the animal aren’t showing up
– The foster application button and contact us buttons aren’t working (despite having set them to go to a specific page already). Instead it just takes you back to the listings page.

– Changing the colours options does not work at all

– Lastly, despite having entered the text in the Fostering Information section (in the back end), when you click the fostering info link in the front end, it doesnt display it – its just blank.

Please can you advise

I’m wondering if this is still under active development? It seems this hasn’t been updated in over a year. If not are you at all willing to let another developer adopt this plugin to continue development including supporting the plugin?

I enjoy this plugin and think I can resolve some of the issues with it and would like to continue development on it. If your interested you can remain on the author list, otherwise I’m interested in forking this thing to help out with the issues users are facing.
