Elementor Pro frontend JS error after upgrade to 3.25.0 in Admin mode only

Greetings, at the very least, when logged in as Admin (with toolbar on top of the pages), main navigation handler is not loaded (missing secondary drop-downs). The navigation works as expected when logged out. Here’s the error I’m seeing in Chrome:

Site blocked when admin mode

Hi, I’m having a strange problem with my website rossanaflower.it , the thing is that it blocks when I’m logged in as an admin, it works perfeclty fine if I’m using it normally (I mean when I’m using it like any client would), but once I log in and see the upper admin bar, all buttons get blocked (only the header bar ones work), I can’t select text, can’t play videos, view images, nothing, like the entire site is blocked, I see a widget which I think its suppossed to be on the side area moving to the top, I’ve tried disabling plug ins but nothing, any ideas?

view the WP admin page and view the site “normally” at the same time?

Very new and very frustrated WP user here.

I’m actually a coder! But I’m finding the first steps of WP appalling: principally because the documentation (tutorials, etc.) is (IMHO) very bad and usually not up-to-date. I suspect most people get a friend/colleague to show them the WP rudiments. I don’t have that option.

Anyway, one question (forgive the incorrect terminology, if applicable): when I have my site open in “admin mode” (i.e. with the “W” in a circle icon at the top left), is there any way to display the site normally, i.e. as an average visitor would see it, in the same browser? I use Firefox, and even when I have two windows, logging out of the admin page (in order to see the site from an ordinary visitor’s viewpoint) in one window also logs me out in any other Firefox windows. So I have to use e.g. Chrome for viewing the site as seen by a normal visitor… is there any way round this?

Mobile Menu behaving differently live vs preview

Hey everyone,

I’m using the mobile menu plugin and so far it is working great when I am logged in as an administrator.

I’m mostly wondering about the child pages. When users visit the site on the first load the arrows load correctly and all the sub pages show up without any issue.

However, if they click on the arrow to open the sub menu, the arrow is treated as a hyperlink and the sub pages open for a split second before the next page is visited. They are then redirected to the parent page and the arrows are gone completely.

However, if I am logged into my site and view the page as an administrator, the arrows close and open smoothly, and I can navigate to any children pages. They also never seem to go away.

It seems like my wordpress instance is not reloading any of the pages on the live site. I don’t see a spinning wheel and it visits almost instantly.

I’ve tried clearing the cache multiple times, and deactivating all the other plugins except for the wp-mobile-menu.

Does anyone have any idea what is happening?

EDIT: I changed my theme and it works with the other themes. It must be something in my theme that is causing the “no-reload part”

Icons not adjusted to my settings

Hi there, I’ve just started with Ultimate Social Media Icons plugin for my website, artvisio.club . After a few trials and adjustments I have decided the final settings- how many icons to show up on my website, where to be shown and what each icons does…. Unfortunately, I cannot get rid of very first settings, the RSS is still displayed and clicking on icons still not working. This is happening when I’m logged out from my dashboard (not in admin mode). If I’m logged in (admin mode), I am able to preview and use properly the icons I’ve set….. I’m a bit confused why this difference , why STILL not consider my current settings , as per a visitor view (outside admin mode)…. How to set shout capability for admins only?

Hi, when logged in as admin, if I got to any of my posts or create a new posts, the text in the text editor in Visual mode is now formatted as condensed and small Helvetica Neue???

Is this an update from WordPress, because I sure did not update anything else? It is not very legible and not a font I wan’t to use when I type in text, so at the moment I end up writing everything in Text mode.

Website not loading/functioning properly in admin-mode

Hi!

Since more than a day my website is very slow when I’m working in the admin-mode. This is the url to my website: https://www.theslctd.com/.

When I’m in the admin modus the homepage doesn’t load fully. However, when I visit the website as a visitor it does load.

Next to that, whenever I make an adjustment and try to ‘update’ or ‘save draft’ I first get a blank page and only after refreshing the page the update or saving has taken place. Normally the refreshing is not necessary.

Does anyone have an idea what is causing this issue and how to solve it?

Pin it button working only in admin mode

Hi,

Pin it button is working correctly when I am viewing my website while connected in admin mode. If not connected, it doesn’t display at all in the hover state. I set it to dinamic – no change. As browsers I used chrome and firefox. I also checked debug mode in advanced settings.
