as options. I did not create and set up this website, Ive taken it over for the company. I read through some other forms and things about changing settings under profile but I do not have those options. The only box option that I have that would change anything is: tool bar (Show Toolbar when viewing site) which is clicked.
There werent any WordPress accounts that seemed to be tied to any of the websites made either. As I had to create this one when I tried using forgot password to see if there were any. I dont know if that effects some of the issues I am having? or how I go about fixing it. So far I am only having this menu issue, and lack of access with one of the websites. I dont know how I am supposed to change what accesses I should have either, as the recorded admin isnt set up or correct either.

]]>After trying for some hours of googling and tries I took the decision to ask for help here cause i’m kinda desperate
I transfered a single multisite subdomain blog (site1.mysite.com) to his own domain (site1.com)
I made sure I had the latest wp version before migrating. I ftp uploaded the upload/plugins and themes folders to the new domain.
I took the wp_prefix_siteid tables from phpmyadmin
added them to the new db and changed prefix, search and replace all urls and uploads paths
The website on the frontend has no issues ( https://annalisamantovani.com )
But I can’t access the wp dashboard anymore.
If i try to access /wp-admin i get “Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page.” message.
If i login using /wp-login path I can login but i can only see the frontend, no possibilities to go in the backend, It’s like i’m a normal user. I checked 10 times and the user i have in the database has adminitrator role. ( wp_capabilities
a:1:{s:13:”administrator”;b:1;}; wp_user_level: 10).
I tried renaming plugins/themes via ftp but no luck. I tried clearing cache/cookies.
I am kinda lost on what I am supposed to do.
Any help is really appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

]]>Problem:
Starting a couple of weeks ago, I can no longer update pages or upload media from my computer at home. I either get a 408 timeout or “connection reset” in Firefox. The problem seemed to appear after updating to 4.5.3. Everything else works fine in the admin, and other computers on my home network such as my phone and my wife’s computer can update and upload with no issues. I am also unable to connect to my site via FTP from my computer. I have another WordPress site and I can update and connect to it just fine.
Site in question URL is www.purchaseear.com
What I’ve tried:
Wordpress: disabled all plugins (no change)
Browser: changed browser, cleared cache, reset browser
Computer: flushed DNS, changed IP address, reset router and modem systematically, virus scan, Malwarebytes scan, made double sure that all firewalls were off both on PC and router, nothing is being blocked.
Server host: went through tech support with GoDaddy, confirmed nothing was wrong with server
ISP: went through tech support with Comcast, traffic passing normally
Other Notes: when I do a tracert to the server, I show 4 timeouts on the way there. They are consistent and still there even from other computers on my network. Could just be the trace packets being disregarded.
I’m not sure how much more detailed I can be. Thanks for anyone who tried to help.
]]>I am doing some freelance work for Knights Event Center, however, the login credentials do not give me admin access level to a point where I can see and use the Appearance and the Plugin panels.
I have notified my contacts at Knights Event Center, but they have tried to contact him and they can’t seem to get in touch with him.
Is there a way for me to be able to add myself as another admin user? If so, how do I connect to the Knights Event Center database remotely?
This is the website: shakopeekofc.org
Such as:
The front end of the website is fine, minus one issue that seems to be plugin related.
What I’ve done to troubleshoot so far:
Nothing has fixed the issue so far.
The console errors I’m seeing are plugin related (only on admin) – “Failed to load resource: the server with a status of 404 (Not Found)”. If I turn off my plugins I’m not seeing this error of course, but there are still other issues like the default themes screenshot.png files are not showing.
