I would like to add a link to open a large version of the chart on this page, Life in a Dol house blog, to make it easily readable. The 640×480 is too low resolution.
I can’t find a way though to create a link on the page to the larger image, which will open as an overlay on the existing page.
Any help to do this would be much appreciated. Thanks for reading.
]]>while we were finalizing the launch of our new website we came into the following issue, which appear just today:
We cannot add external links to pages anymore besides google.de
We are using WP 5.4 with Gutenberg editor. When we try to save a page that includes an external link like e.g unsplash.com the response is something like “Aktualisierung fehlgeschlagen. Die Antwort ist keine gültige JSON-Antwort.”
Which is German for something like “update failed. the response is not a valid JSON-response”. If we replace the link with an link to our own website OR to google.de, it works fine. This issue is new since today. It’s been working for weeks fine.
Today we changed the domain manually from preview.<ourdomain>.de to <ourdomain.de>. We changed links in wp_posts and admin gui. everything else is working fine.
Any hints? thanks for your help and best regards
]]>I don’t know how it occurred but whenever I try to make a new post, I’m in block mode.
There’s an icon to add a block but not to remove one. And nothing to deactivate the feature
There now seems to be no way to post a link in my post and edit it to add text. (only the url )
]]>I am a painter and have used Jetpack to create a series of carousel galleries, for visitors to quickly browse my work. Please see the enclosed direct link for an example, or head to my homepage: https://johnmichaelkeating.com — my galleries are under the “Artwork” menu heading.
Here’s my question: I’m building a WooCommerce store to my site, and I would like to add a link from each painting’s carousel view, straight to the WooCommerce product page for that specific painting (or print thereof). Think a “Buy this painting now” button, appearing in the individual carousel view for each image.
How would I go about implementing this? I’m not sure if this would be best accomplished by modifying some code, or some other way… I’ve searched for plugins and support posts that would answer my question, but so far I haven’t found what I am looking for.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks much in advance, and all the best.
thanks for the great plugin!
I am having the same issue exactly as described in this thread (which is closed now)
I don’t have Akismet installed and I also followed the quick fix mentioned to no avail
How can I send you my library settings?
]]>I’m creating a plugin for my website and for some reason i cannot find any reference on how i would go about adding a link to the main menu to access the plugin from the front end? all i have been able to find is admin menu links.
any help would be greatly appreciated
To get working I have to go and use an old version of my .htaccess file each time, and when I do the new link is there.
I’ve checked the new version versus the old and nothing seems different, but I have a ton of lines in my file.
]]>This has been happening for a few months now and I am just overly annoyed by it now, so seeing if it is happening to anyone else and how to fix it.
I am adding links into articles for sources or linking to previous articles I have written. I have the anchor text highlighted and add the link. When I click “Add Link,” it will add the link to the text, but then it shifts it somewhere else in the paragraph. I notice this usually happens when I have something bolded or italicized in the paragraph also. It will move the anchor text right after that bolded or italicized word. Usually I just undo and redo the link again and it works the second time. Lately, it has been taking like 5 times to get it to work properly.
Anyone else experiencing this and if so, how would I stop this from happening?
