I have had a look around at others with this problem and it seems like I need to do this in the reading settings.
My home page is built on index.php, which doesn’t come up as an option for homepage in the reading settings and when I select the ‘blog page’ for the post page – I just get the home page (index page)
Anyone know what I need to do?

]]>I would like to get some recommendations on what plug-ins I will need to achieve my goals.
I am developing a website where I need to include the following:
1) A “refine results” or “category filter” section. The following page shows an example on the left (www.boardshorts.com/men)
Apparently WooCommerce AJAX provides this feature but I wanted to see what other options I have.
2) A comments section where people can make comments about a picture or an article.
3) A blog.
4) Rankings to be able to display what picture has been seen the most in a day, month, etc.
5) Classified adds to let people post their products.
Any help will be greatly appreciate it.
]]>I have a site that has a user submitted content plug in, that allows users to submit their content and it all shows up, in exerts, on the front page of my site. Users can interact and give one another advice on dating problems.
I would like to add a page, that would allow me to have a blog where I write about relationship tips and advice for my users to read, and for SEO purposes.
My question is, if this were to be content I wrote, the front page would be my blog, but instead, it is the user content. How can I go about having the user content, and having another page with my content?
Is this possible, or did I opt out of being able to have that functionality when I decided on the format I am using.
You can check it out at https://www.breakupvote.com and see what I am talking about.
Thanks!
