Is there any way to upload the whole book either by uploading it to the library or placing it in “images”?
Thanks for your help.

]]>The gallery downloads are membership protected but that’s not relevant to this question. I am attempting to add a new document to one of the categories, but I can’t remember how I allocated the previous documents to categories. I’ve looked at the media gallery and the DG settings but there seems to be something missing since I uploaded the first set of documents. (I upgraded WP to v 4.1)
Can you provide a basic step-by-step on how to add a newly uploaded PDF to an existing document gallery category please?

]]>For hours already I am trying to add my digital download Pdf file to the “Add product” section.
Is there somewhere a tutorial where is explained how to add your digital download in Version 3.8.14? I have the feeling that most tutorials are made for earlier versions.
The problem I have is the following:
In the “Add new Product section” is a product delivery mark. I think I can upload my Pdf there but it doesn’t respond at all. It does not open, it doesn’t respond. Do I have to activate something first?
Thank you.

]]>She clicks “Add Media” and then successfully uploads her content (in this case a pdf, but attempted with images jpeg/png also) but when she hits insert into post nothing happens.
I looked into the problem myself and find when using “insert into post” wordpress makes an ajax call to “/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php” which returns the message “Security check failed” looking into the ajax call I’ve found that it successfully calls the function “wp_ajax_send_attachment_to_editor” (line 1974 of /wp-admin/includes/ajax-actions.php) and this is where I am not sure what is failing the only security call I can see is “if ( current_user_can( ‘edit_post'” (line 1987) and the current user has the correct permissions and is able to edit the post, it only fails when trying to add media to the page, she can add text save and publish.
If anybody can spread some light onto why this might be happening I would be very grateful.
]]>Some of the WordPress FAQ’s got me closer to the answer but I want to be absolutely sure this will work.
I want to insert a very short mp3 file and 1 page of pdf into a post for readers to DOWNLOAD (not just listen & view).
How do I do that and where do I store the 2 files?
Many thanks for the help in advance.
