I am working on my own template, from scratch, and one feature I really would like to use, is that drop-down menu at:
Appearance/ Customize / Homepage Settings /
Homepage:
+ Add New Page
This, because my landing page exists out of multiple pages. I have found a work around but this means I need to manipulate the robots.txt and htaccess cos search engines otherwise will show these pages as individual pages and not as a part of the entire landing page as a whole.
I think I am missing some code in the functions.php and/or maybe in my landing page php file.
Anyways, I could really use a bit of help, tips or advice.

I’ve read on previous posts on this forum that it could be a plugin or theme conflict. I then disabled all plugins and still could not add a new page or post. I could not even edit existing pages if I was not using Elementor to do so.
I have 3 Administrator users on this website. Myself and two others, they are still able to add new pages or posts. I don’t understand how three users, with the same roles, have different results when attempting to create a new page, on the same website?
For some reason I cannot create a new page. When clicking Add New Page it
does not load, irrespective if I refresh the page. The other two admin users do not have this problem.
I am asking, why do three users with the same role have different results
on an action (Add New Page) on the same website?
Surely if it was a theme or plugin conflict the two users that have successfully created a page would see the same thing that I am when attempting to Add New Page?

]]>I’ve just experienced a temporary error. I tried to edit a page which I created and worked on yesterday, using block editor, but this morning, I couldn’t get to the edit screen and was told there was an error. I hadn’t made any changes to the site at all between times.

In the few minutes it too me to reset my password so that I could come on here and ask for some advice, it fixed itself!
So I don’t know if this is a temporary issue caused by a server thingy on my host’s end? I also put my site through Cloudflare for https, so it could be something to do with that as well. I did have issues with uploading images a few months ago, but that issue has gone now.

When I try to create a new page in my WordPress site I get an error message as this “Publishing failed. Error message: The response is not a valid JSON response.”
I have no image uploaded and its has nothing to do with image only adding new pages.
Is someone having the same issues? And found a solution for that maybe. ]]>
Yesterday afternoon, the sidebar on the Add New Post page jumped to the middle of the page.
The sidebar is covering the body copy box, as well as the boxes below it, and everything on the page seems like it’s centered. The top half of the page is one column, and the bottom half is two columns.
I am running Google Chrome Version 64.0.3282.186 on MacOS Sierra version 10.12.5.
How do I return the page to normal?
