Hey woo support,

Using latest Wp and Woo.

Really have a difficult time.

This is my scenario.

I want to add a company name field (optional- in case it is a resident)to the form for shipping address section. on checkout page.

Add the company name to the field in the woo database that already exists in the orders table under customers_company field.

next I want to use that customers_company name and display in checkout page once edited as the shipping address.

next I want to use that customers_company name( if entered ) and place it in the email that the owner receives:

i.e.
Ship To : Comany Name and Company Address

Things I have tried with partial success I have used a few plugins and tried some suggested php and put it in functions.php code that I have googled but it only is solving part of this problem.

If someone could answer the whole problem. Plugins accepted. I would rather do it with php in functions.php of course.

Really need a helping hand for this.

Cannot link to page as the site is locked down to logged in users only.

After trying out the “add fields” addon, I noticed that the notes page stopped working. So I disabled the addon and all the fields I created disappeared as expected, but the one causing the notes page to not work is still there. There’s still a custom field on the notes section and I cannot get rid of it.

Custom Fields Not Updating in Field Set Up

Hi, I am trying to add custom fields to my registration form. I am doing this in the WP-Members Set up under the Fields tab. I go to Create Field, fill in the required fields and then Add Field. After clicking the Add Field button, I am redirected back to the main Fields page where the field list is with no new field.

I tried to follow the instructions on https://rocketgeek.com/plugins/wp-members/docs/registration/choosing-fields/, but there is not add field box to check or an Update Field button.

How do you suggest I fix this?

I really like this plugin. This works well for me. But, there are a few fields that I need to know from an applicant, so my question is can I add extra fields to the application form? How can I achieve this?

I would also like to add a field for attaching resume and cover letter.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can’t add new fields or new field group

I’m not able to add fields to existing field groups and I can’t add new field groups. When I try to add a new field or new field group and hit publish/update, the load icon keeps spinning but it never publishes the changes.

I have tried adding different fields and trying on different browsers without luck. I have the WordPress version 5.1.1 and the plugin is updated.

Is this being fixed or does anyone know what I can do about it?

I am working on a website and there is a normal form (Made with form7) on the site. But there are also two forms to register people With a name and membership number Now I want to make the form so that a visitor (only if he or she is logged in) can add two fields to the contact form with a button (For example) So a person can specify more people in a form. So that multiple people can be registered by one the contact form.

is this possible ? I think this should happen with a script or something similar, but I can not find anything about this.

Add Field button not working

I just downloaded this plugin today and it is not working at all. I am simply trying to add another field to collect names and when I click on the ad field button nothing happens. When I try to publish a form I get your pop up asking to connect to my account. the X button in top right of modal doesn’t work and the “I’m all set” like at the bottom of the modal doesn’t work. I have to use my back button to get rid of your pop up.I figure its some kind of query conflict but I turned of all other existing plugins and it still doesn’t work. I have tried this on my local wp install as well as staging site at my host. Any ideas? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

About the billing address

I have installed the “GIVE” plugin to my website (with Woocommerce installed) and found that there are only name, surname and email address in the created donation form. And I found that there is a billing address field in the back-end for both Donors (just appear in those donors who donated in login status) and Donations. There are several questions:

1) For Donors billing address, when I login as member and donate for the 1st time, a Donor account will be created (of course the billing address is blank in back-end at that time for both Donor and Donation interface). Then I login as admin and input the billing address for this Donor account. After that I login as this member account and donate again, but I found that for this 2nd donation, the billing address is still blank. Therefore please advice whether the billing address in Donor and Donation are separated and there are no linkage in between.

2) If I want to add this billing address field to the front-end donation form, please advice whether I can achieve this by buying your add-on “Form Field Manager”.

Please reply asap as I need to integrate the whole donation issue. Thanks a lot!
