How to add ‘leave a comment’ to the end of each post of a page?

Dear all, I have been struggling with adding ‘leave a comment’ to the end of each post of a page. I want people who click on ‘leave a comment’ from a page to go directly to the comment box of its post.

The link I shared used anchor link as a temporary solution. If people click on ‘add a comment,’ they will go to the post and see ‘add a comment’once again right above the comment box, which is definitely not ideal.

Any thought? I am using the child theme. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone!

I am wondering if there is any way to automatically expand the box (or to let the comment BOX to show up so that users can immediately see it and also can immediately start typing their comments) instead of clicking on the ‘ADD A COMMENT’ link, only then to have the comment box showing up.

This is because most of my users are lost and sometimes overlooked the ‘Add a comment’ link and would straightaway leave my blog without even commenting. This is just my assumption but I suppose this is what most of the users would behave.

Please let me know if there is any workaround for this. Perhaps an ‘onload’ event that would supersede the ‘onclick’ event of the link?

Adding a "comment on this post" link on homepage

I am using WP v. 3.4.2, and the blogum theme, but I am having trouble locating where in my templates the code should be placed to make a “comment on this post” link appear at the bottom of each post on my homepage. There originally was such a link, but I deleted it at one point and now I’d like to get it back.

I am new to WP, and I have a client that has a blog and wanted it to post new articles on their website. I got that done but it calls in “Add a Comment, Add to Facebook! and Tweet It” text-images to the bottom of the article. How do I turn this off?

Right now “write a comment” is at the bottom of all the comments that were added by customers.

I would like to have “write a comment” at the top of all the comments that were already added. How do I do that?

My blog only has a “Comments” option along with the number of comments but someone has to click on it to add a comment. Should there also be an “Add a Comment” link next to the (ex. “4 Comments” or “No Comments”) link? Not sure if I missed something in the setup configuration.
If there isn’t an “Add a Comment” link what would be the code and where would I insert it to appear at the bottom of all posts (such as on Anderson Cooper’s blog). We’ve got people complaining that they don’t know where to click to add comments to a post. Thanks!
