– Clearing/Removing all of my caching plugins
– Manually changing the wp_options table’s template, stylesheet, and current_theme values to be my custom theme’s name (this seems to instantly fix the problem, but after a few hours it seems like WordPress reverts back to Twenty Twenty-One)
– Deleting the Twenty Twenty-One theme from my server’s Themes folder (somehow even without a theme folder/files WP switches back to this theme)
– Remove various code from the wp-includes/theme.php file that seem like would be checking for this “broken” state and causing the site to revert
Is there anything I can add to my functions.php file or somewhere else to ensure that WordPress either doesn’t check for the theme being broken or forces my custom theme to always be used?

]]>My problem is that the theme is activated and works well but in the admin under Appearance -> Themes under my theme the is still showing Activate Button and not say (Active:”My Theme Name”). What’s the problem????
]]>When I first uploaded WP Twenty Fourteen 4.1 it tends to display with a left sidebar in Firefox but in Explorer the sidebar does not appear.
As I want to do away with the left sidebar I uploaded Child Theme Configerator.
However, in the ‘Live Preview’ a left sidebar does not show but it continues to show in Firefox just like it did prior to my uploading Child T. Configerator.
In WP Appearance my Child Theme is the first theme that shows up and the Parent theme is a row below.
What I like to know is in which theme am I actually working with and can I switch in WP Appearance between Child and Parent if I make an error (I already did a backup as per your video).
Also can you suggest which video illustrates best how to get rid of the right sidebar as I notice the majority of videos make use of WP Extended Plugin.
Thanks

]]>The look of the email and download forms can be changed by copying files from the /css/ and /templates/ folder of the plugin into your active theme folder. Rename the files ssd-original_file_name.php/css (e.g. ssd-download.php or ssd-ss-downloads.css) and edit as needed.
I really do not understand. I usually make the same folder structure in my active theme and put the files I want to edit/modify, but it doesn’t work in this plugin
Anyway, great work.
Thanks.

]]>Kindly help on below:
I added a piece of code to the TWENTY FOURTEEN theme which was active (read and felt sorry later that it was not recommended to edit an active theme) and changed the background color to “green”. My website link is “www.missionhe.in/ngo” . Now I want to reverse that color by re-editing; but not able to see that theme in the drop down list for themes, when I go to editor again.
Sincere regards, Sanjaya

]]>I can check on my site one day and it’ll be just a white screen because for some reason no theme is active. I activate any of the themes, and after a while (have not yet determined hours or days) no theme is active. I have to go back and re-activate it.
I’ve deactivated some plugins (can’t leave them all inactive for a week — opens security risks), but there’s no noticeable change.
This is quite annoying. It doesn’t happen on another site I manage, our church’s site, which uses the same theme, the only real difference is aesthetics and a few plugins specific to the church (e.g., a sermon plugin).

]]>Thanks so much for this great plugin, I’ve found it very useful and implemented it across a myriad of different sites.
I’m having a problem with trying to make WordPress read my own profile-form.php template. I have copied the original template file into my active theme directory, but it doesn’t seem to be reading it…?
Any ideas?
Thank you for your time!
