i’m working on a project for a client. They purchased your theme (if needed I can give the license key).
I have a few issues:
– I want the header pointed downward (and not in a straight) on all pages, just like on the homepage. That is perfect, but I want it for my other pages, and I can’t find where to change it.
– All the headers zoom in the image. I don’t want it zoomed in. Can it be turned off?
– How/where can I change the active menu-item style? I want it bolder (now it’s barely visible, and add a color to make it more stand out.
– When I go to another page than the homepage the menu only contains the logo. When I scroll a bit down the menu-items appear. This is very bad for the userexperience, since people can’t navigate directly. Can you show the menu-items right when the page opens?
– I used feautures on the homepage. But when I click to the page I want a different header. How can I add an own header to this page, without the feauturing items to be changed?
I hope you can help me out. I’ve searched for the answers but I couldn’t find them anywhere. It’s out of my knowledge and since the theme is purchased I hope you can help me out.
First things first: this plugin is just fab, and made my day; thnx a ton!
There’s one little thing that needs to be checked. It works great with blog posts and custom post types (like I’m using portfolio items, created with Custom Post Type UI).
However, when using it for static pages, that are shown as menu options, it shows the secondary title in the menu once the page is active. That is: for the active menu item. When the page is not active (visiting another page), the secondary title disappears again.

Guess I can solve it with some css (probably set it to display none, or something), however, would be nice if this can be fixed
BTW
I’m using Astra theme and Elementor Page Builder
Other than that: it’s excellent!!!
Cheers,
Marc
The way my website is now, I don′t know where I am on the site, since the active menu item of the page I′m visiting isn′t highlighted to make it different from the non active menu items. Now, it only is highlighted when hovering the item.
So, I would like the active menu item (also if it is just a sub menu item) to be in white for as long as I am visiting that page in order to highlight the current page that you I′m on. I would love it to get back to light grey (like it is now when it is inactive) as soon as I leave the active page.
I already tried:
$(‘.menu a’).filter(function() {
return this.href == url;
}).addClass(‘better-active’);
Does anyone know the solution?
if (current_custom_link_ID == 1061) {
echo something;
}
Generally speaking, I would like to track the name of the active (current) custom menu link to output it in the content area.
In the WordPress documentation I found nothing suitable, neither with wp_nav_menu () or similar functions.
I am grateful for every note.
Thanx
I have a variety of Dropdown Menu Widgets used in sidebars and in the footer – using the “Color Scheme” theme, with “glassy” overlay (they’re working fine… great plugin!).
But, there is no setting in the custom colors section to Set The Active Menu Item Text Color (the tab/link that indicates the current page they are on) – and nothing I’ve tried in the Custom CSS has worked to correct this.
What do I need to put in the Custom CSS (advanced tab) – to Set The Active Menu Item Text Color?
Thanks!

I noticed that Glossary appeared as the active menu item when I am on the index page, but once I click on a term to view its separate “page,” the Blog page becomes the active item on the menu.
I assumed this had something to do with use of the post interface to create pages for the glossary terms, and sent the plugin author a feature request that this be changed so the Glossary page displays as active. They replied that it was a theme issue. I was skeptical, but I tested it with the 2013 and 2015 themes, and they were right – in those themes, NO menu item is active when a term page is viewed, which actually makes more sense.
Here’s the Glossary index page:
Really love your theme!
I want to set different color to the active menu item. I added the code:
‘’
If I am in Home page It works great. However, I have links in home page to pages I created in my site. When I am in a page (not home page), pressing the menu items doesn’t do anything.
Could you please help with this issue?
Thanks in advanced!
Great plugin… Everything is working fine, but I haven’t been able to find a way to have an Active Menu Item in Dropdown Menu Widget’s menus be a different color (background -or- text), like what occurs in all my site’s main navigation menus. I’ve changed the options for Custom Colors (hover, mouse over, etc.)… and have tried changing a variety of items in my theme’s stylesheet – but nothing has worked there that affects the Dropdown Menus.
Appreciate any help…
Thanks!

Thanks!
