We are a marketplace using woocommerce. We have noticed that when a new user signs up using Google Onetap they also receive an email for account activation in their inbox which is not required, can you please guide me how we can disable sending account activation email for Onetap signup.
We only want this activation email to be sent when a new user signs-up by filling the signup form.

]]>Initially, I set up the entire endeavor via GoDaddy, so it had a temporary email address assigned to it. I changed that to my personal email address for starters (@gmail.com), and thought maybe that’s why the email wasn’t coming through.
I purchased an Office 365 account through GoDaddy and changed the admin email via phpMyAdmin to the new branded email address. He still never received an activation email upon account creation.
I installed “Check & Log Email,” and he and I both receive our test emails.
After reading a lot about this problem I found that most people don’t rely on WordPress’s built-in PHP() system, they use alternatives to do SMTP, so I installed Post SMTP (Postman). I went through the arduous process of setting up an API key & credentials through Google, and when it came time to send the test emails they came through just fine, showing the Gmail email address as intended.
However, when I had him register again, he still receives no activation email.
I am beyond at a loss. I have been at this for hours upon hours and I’m honestly no further than I was before. Can anyone tell me how to get these activation emails to send? I would beyond appreciate any help!

ETA: I should mention that I have a lot of plugins installed due to the nature of my theme, Armadon, by Themosaurus. Those plugins include BuddyPress. I’m not sure if that could be part of the issue.
