I’m editing my companies website and a folder (I’m not sure what they’re called) on the dashboard has gone missing, which in turn has caused certain pages to return a 404 error. I uploaded a photo of the missing ‘folder’ here (old screenshot, its not currently on the site). If anyone can help me solve this issue that would be fantastic, and if you need any more information/links to the site please let me know!
Thanks
]]>For some odd reason, I started to get a 404 for an asset-manifest.json at the root level.
I do not know the cause of this error.
Also, I had deactivated all the plugins and the theme and I still get the error.
Please let me know if there are any suggestions to try?
Thank you and have an amazing day!
I have created a Dropshipping store and installed AliDropship and Dropship-Me plugins. I have listed a few products on my store. Few products were listed in the parent categories while a few were listed in the child product categories.
After listing the products, when I tried to access my site, I found that all the parent product categories are generating 404 page error. While the child categories are okay and easily accessible.
For example:
thestylearena.com/type/women-clothing/
This is parent category and you can see the 404 page error here.
While for this same parent category
thestylearena.com/type/women-clothing/tops/
is a child product category of same which is mentioned above. And this child category is easily accessible.
First I thought it could be because no products in the parent category (Though even if there are no products, there shouldn’t be any 404 error), so I listed a few products in all the parent categories. I also rename the parent categories but no luck.
I also created new parent categories and checked those without listing and with listing products. But in both cases I found 404 error.
I have also tried saving the settings >> Permalinks page again but still there is same problem.
My site is hosted at A2Hosting.
I have one more site on same server with same theme and same plugins, but that is working fine.
Note: This problem has nothing to do with WordPress 5.0. My site was at WP 4.9 when I installed the WooCommerce. Today I updated it to WP 5.0 and was expecting that it could solve the issue. But no luck, issue is still there.
Need help.
Thanks.
]]>When I change my Permalink Settings in Dashboard:
1.) My settings have always been to “post name” For example, my home page used to be rsoldiers.com/home and my blog was rsoldiers.com/blog respectively.
2.) Now for some reason when I type in those URL’s, I get this instead:
*Typing: rsoldiers.com/home gets a 404 page not found error.
The actual home page URL is as follows (https://rsoldiers.com/?v=7516fd43adaa)
blog URL is now: (https://rsoldiers.com/blog/?v=7516fd43adaa)
3.) I’d like to know how to remove the: ?v=7516fd43adaa and revert everything back to the way it should be.
Any clever solution will work for me. I’m a newbie, and thank you in advance for any help and insights you can offer me.
Thank you,
Jonny
p.s. I have read the “Using Permalinks” documentation in WordPress. I am still unable to decipher my predicament.

It’s container class naming issue. We can’t set all website container classes because every website having its own CSS and naming conventions.
So, we are giving the facility to Job Board’s users for adding container class or Id under Settings> Appearance tab. Please add your website container class in “Job Board Container Class:” under Job Board> Settings> Appearance tab.

]]>One of my pages ‘FAQs’ page keeps redirecting to a 404 error page.
The message that comes up says: “Server cannot find the file yo requested. The Page has either been moved or deleted, or you entered the wrong URL or document name…”
I have a button link on my homepage which takes me to the FAQ page on my site. The page loads fine initially but after I start scrolling (from a mobile device), the page gets redirected to a 404 page.
The problem only seems to be on this page and for mobile users only. I get no problems viewing on desktop.

]]>I really need some help with something that in the past has been really straightforward, but with this theme I am receiving a page error message each time.
I need to be able to customize the permalinks, but when I use “Settings>Permalinks>post name” or “Settings>Permalinks>Custom Structure>/%category%/%postname%/” I get page errors on all pages except for the home page.
This is the error message I receive once I try to edit my permalinks “404 Error File Not Found. The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.”
This is the site:
https://www.ggaxconsulting.com/
And here’s an example of the current url https://www.ggaxconsulting.com/?page_id=385
What I want the url to look like is: https://www.ggaxconsulting.com/services
Please can you help me?
Thx,
Megan
Problem: (1) Post do no show in main window, but the post titles and links are listed in the Recent Posts section
(2) When you click on the name of the posts (in the recent Posts section) you are sent to a 404 file not found page.
The posts do show up on the dashboard and I can edit them.
This is what I did: I updated to the latest version of WordPress. Then I dowloaded a new theme OnlineMagazine. I installed the theme and then customized it, saved it and activated it. Everything was fine.
I went into the WP dashboard to work on my next post and realized that I had omitted the search widget. I added the search widget (from the WP dashboard) and kaboom!
To try and fix the problem I’ve reverted to my original theme,I’ve reinstalled WP, I’ve deleted, downloaded and reinstalled the onlinemagazine theme, nothing has worked. I’ve been able to download and install a theme, but when I access the theme to customize it I only have options for the Site title & tagline and what type of front page display.
Thanks for your help.
