I’m seeking your guidance on resolving some indexing issues on my website. I’ve noticed problems such as pages with no index tags, not found (404) errors, pages crawled but not indexed, and canonical tag mishandling. My site uses the Extra theme by Elegant Themes, and I’d like to ensure everything is set up for optimal indexing and SEO performance. Could you advise on fixing these issues using Google Search Console, as well as any relevant settings or plugins that integrate well with the Extra theme? I truly appreciate your time and any tips you can share—thanks in advance!
]]>I’ve changed the permalinks as per your support articles but still no change. This occurs on multiple systems.
The link from an email is:
Currently a new booking is waiting for approval. Please visit the moderation panel https://website.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=wpbc&view_mode=vm_listing&tab=actions&wh_booking_id=36
Can’t figure out what the issue would be.
]]>I’ve spent a couple of hours trying to find a solution in different foruns/articles. As instructed elsewhere I saved Permalinks (tons of times by now) to regenerate .htaccess, cleared cache, disabled all plugins, have twenty twenty-four enabled. Nothing works. Site Health Status displays the following message:
The REST API encountered an unexpected result
The REST API is one way that WordPress and other applications communicate with the server. For example, the block editor screen relies on the REST API to display and save your posts and pages.
When testing the REST API, an unexpected result was returned:
REST API Endpoint: https://localhost:8888/wordpress/wp-json/wp/v2/types/post?context=edit
REST API Response: (404) Not Found
How can I fix this?
Thanks!

and if the same URL is listed multiple times, would the same URL be counted multiple times in the total 404 error count?
thank you
]]>Around two days ago I have deactivated and deleted HMWG, but today from my plugin of “301 Redirects” there’re still some 404 errors come out time by time, is there anything you can help to figure this out? here’s a screenshot of the newest error log just now.

Wondering is there anything of code in our database can not be cleaned?
Thanks in advance!
]]>I’m encountering an issue with my WordPress website (version 6.4.3) where Google Search Console is indexing pages that I’ve explicitly excluded using Yoast SEO settings.
Here’s the setup:
For reference, here are two types of pages causing issues:
I’ve checked and rechecked the Yoast SEO settings, ensuring that these content types are indeed set to “Out” for indexing.
Can anyone offer insights into why Google Search Console might still be indexing these pages despite Yoast SEO settings indicating otherwise? Any suggestions or troubleshooting steps would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Best regards,
