We currently cannot submit either of our mailchimp forms added using this plugin. I’ve been following the troubleshooting suggestions at https://www.mc4wp.com/kb/fix-the-oops-something-went-wrong-error/, but we’re still experiencing problems.
The forms successfully subscribed someone earlier today, at around 2024-10-02Z01:00. It has not been successful since.
The errors we’re seeing are thus:
[2024-10-02 16:29:01]ERROR:Form 603 > Mailchimp API error: 400 Bad Request. Invalid Resource. The resource submitted could not be validated.
- email_address : This value should not be blank.
Request:
POST https://us9.api.mailchimp.com/3.0/lists/70167085fd/members
{"status":"pending","email_address":"","interests":{},"merge_fields":{},"email_type":"html","ip_signup":"212.82.65.104","tags":[]}
Response:
400 Bad Request
{"type":"https://mailchimp.com/developer/marketing/docs/errors/","title":"Invalid Resource","status":400,"detail":"The resource submitted could not be validated. For field-specific details, see the 'errors' array.","instance":"4ac97f8e-86bf-9cd3-e9ef-05ac87edb905","errors":[{"field":"email_address","message":"This value should not be blank."}]
Here is our form markup on the simpler form, although both forms on the site fail to submit with the same error:

Email address:

Despite having the required EMAIL
field, the email value does not seem to be getting passed to the form submission for some reason.
Please advise.
Many thanks!
I’m getting a 400 error and can’t do anything within the plugin. How can I correct this? I’m lost here.
I have Spectra and Gravity Forms installed on the same site. When I turned on the AJAX submission option for the GF form, half the pages on the site broke (browser 400 error; “malformed request”).
I deactivated Spectra, and the problem went away.
There is an incompatibility between Spectra and using GF Ajax submission that results in massive damage to the website. I already submitted a ticket to GF and I hope you can work with them on a solution. (Unfortunately I contacted them before determining that Spectra was the other half of the equation, and since I don’t see a way to amend that ticket I’ll have to wait for them to get back to me to tell them.)
Please advise, thank you.
Unfortunately I’m a bigger noob at server hosting than I thought. While using cPanel, I saw that the Softaculous reported multiple updates, one of them being wordpress. I clicked to see the update, but it said it can’t find the wordpress directory because it was looking for /wordpress. I thought that if I placed my wordpress files (wp-content, wp-admin etc.) from the original install location into a new folder called “wordpress” it should find the directory and let me update it. Unfortunately this totally destroyed my website, causing critical errors and internal server errors.
I managed to restore previous backups, but for some reason the only way the 500 error disappeared was to revert the PHP version back to 7.3 (it was 7.4 before). Now however, the frontend works, but elementor has a 400 server error and won’t let me change anything, plugins are not updating because they can’t find folders and I just feel like something is definitely wrong.
I replaced the woocommerce folder in /plugins to a fresh install, and also wordpress /wp-includes and /wp-admin. Deactivating the plugins and theme didn’t help either.
Long story short: I was thinking that by changing the location of the files, maybe some path got corrupted that wasn’t replaced in the restore. I was hoping to find the culprit or at least somehow create a fresh install of wordpress without losing my data (as I have hundreds of products in woocommerce and thousands of images).
I know this is a very specific problem, so any help is appreciated.

I’ve recently migrated to a new host/Server for memory reasons. Mostly because I couldn’t keep adding more content in the webpage. But 1 problem keeps persisting and that is the communication between this page in elementor editor mode and the server. I’ve tried many troubleshooting process from elementor themselves: https://elementor.com/help/site-migration/#I-already-migrated-my-site-but-something-is-wrong … but nothing has changed..
i’ve done everything this article gave me: https://etrafficwebdesign.com/server-error-400-wordpress-elementor-solved/ .. but still.
what can i do?
My query is a bit generic and wants to understand what can be the right approach to it. I am seeing lots of topics on the WordPress Support Forum about broken images after upgrading the WordPress to V6.0
Many of them are getting an error when we open the image path URL in the browser we see We cannot complete this request, remote server returned an unexpected status code (400)
Trying to disable the option from performance “enable site accelerator” mostly solves the issue, but is this the right way to solve the problem?
Please guide.
Thank you!
I’ve tested the site in question with all plugins one by one and this is the only one that is causing the issue. WordPress and all other plugins are up to date on PHP 8.0.x
The problem API call is <domain>/wp-json/wc-analytics/admin/notes?page=1&per_page=25&type=error%2Cupdate&status=unactioned&_locale=user
Response is a 400 with the payload:
{"code":"rest_invalid_param","message":"Invalid parameter(s): type","data":{"status":400,"params":{"type":"type[0] is not one of error, warning, update, info, marketing, survey, and email."},"details":{"type":{"code":"rest_not_in_enum","message":"type[0] is not one of error, warning, update, info, marketing, survey, and email.","data":null}}}}
Editing the type
parameter to either error
or update
does return a proper 200 response and an expected appropriate payload.
If this plugin is dead and no longer active, as it has not received an update in at least 2 years, can an alternative be provided? Can this plugin be removed from www.remarpro.com? Also, does Print Aura still support WooCommerce at all?
In the case this support location is not monitored I’ll contact via your website support form.
I don’t know what to do.
If you guys have a solution, I would love to reactivate this plugin and continue with it.
Thanks a lot.
