If I use an excerpt, there is no “read more” link on the front page. If I don’t use an excerpt, the theme posts an amount of the text and appends “read more.” I’ve added a more tag to the excerpt, but, still, no “read more” link. What can I do to get the “read more” to appear when I use excerpts? Thanks.

Videos are displaying too small in posts. I’ve tried a raw link in the post as well as using embeds both with and without explicit height and width set. See https://mikehigginbottom.com/wordpress/science-communication-master-class/ for an example. Seems to be specific to the Zweig theme since it works fine in the WP Twenty Fifteen theme.
