Hi Taras,
Your theme is just what I needed! Thanks!
A little point however: how to get rid of “by admin”?
Why did you call the theme ‘Zomer’ That’s Dutch (like me ?? )
Kind regards,
Frans
can you please tell me whats new in 1.0.19 version ?
]]>So I’m using the Zomer theme on my website and it’s already proven very tricky to set up and not at all user friendly.
Now I come to actually launching my website, publishing my posts to my home page, hyping up on my social media etc etc and instead of showing a summary of the post on the homepage like A) the theme suggests B) is common sense as nobody is going to read the article from the homepage it’s showing the ENTIRE article.
This is not ok. The theme demo implies that it’s a preview and quite frankly I am furious. It appears as if you have purposefully mislead people into thinking its only a preview when in fact it shows the full article. Now my readers are going to see this.
There isn’t a way for ME to change it myself because I’m not a developer but I suggest you fix it and put an update out. I was just about to donate because using a free theme saved my business hundreds.
You need to correct the error.
]]>I read all over the forums, still nothing helps,I use zomer and I want to replace the italic font style from categorys with a normal font.
Also into a page category is displayed above the post,I want to be beneath the post.
“Thanks for the interest” is the category name.
I am having issues with larger images being displayed at full size.
Please see HERE
Any idea? I’m sure its only a little css tweak.
If it helps the images are posted using IFTTT via Instagram.
]]>Hello!
I’m new to www.remarpro.com and making blogs. I am using the Zomer theme, and would like to show only a summary of the text in the feed, as oppose to the full text. The theme details before install also show a nice, even grid lay out that I would like to implement.
Despite me setting it to “summary” under settings/readings/”for every article in feed show”, it keeps showing me the full text at the front page feed.
I’d like to not have to manually add the MORE tag within the post as I want to keep the truncated size even on the feed.
Many thanks!
