So I am trying to add a .jpeg image to the top part of our website. (Underneath the button we have) However, when I go to the customize tab and try to add an image to the ‘Big Title Section,’ there doesn’t appear to be a way to do it. I have tried troubleshooting this for quite some time, but I am not sure how to go about this.

Hi, I have a page using zblackbeard child theme on zerif lite and i have run in to some problems. I have successfully added a third button on the big title section and got a good color on it, now I want to change the 2 other buttons (the red and blue) so they look more like the third button Consequently remove the border on the two buttons and remove the opacity on them. I have tried and tried but I can′t get it working, I can′t change them at all even when I change the options in style.css on the buttons they remain the same. How do I solve this issue, the page I’m working on is located at https://stage.brismoab.se/

I am having troubles with the menu when in mobile modus, its directly closes when clicking to open it.

Is there any way to add submenus to the menu sections of the Zblackbeard theme?

I would want to add a submenu that would take one directly to a bookmark with the underlying page.

Yesterday I installed ZBlackbeard. I somehow managed to choose the color layout “white”. Later on, I did something wrong, and it was gray again. When I try to change it back, in the “customizer” the part where I thought I could change it is locked. OK, maybe I should just pay for a premium version, but since I had the white earlier and the description of ZBlackbeard says “white”, along with “gray”, and “red” I have hope that there’s a solution somewhere.

It might just be something very simple, but I’ve been trying for some time now, checking every corner of my dashboard and of the customizer.

What changed between the moment I had the whiteone and the moment I couldn’t change it back, is the installation of the plugins Zerif recommanded, and some editing to the website (changing from static page to latest posts and back, adding text and photo, etc).

Hope someone can help!

I’m redesigning https://aaa-ent.com and I’m using the Blackbeard theme. I set it up in a staging directory https://aaa-ent.com/private and got it to where the client was very happy. I went to move the site to the root domain (as I’ve done with several sites) following the codex to the letter. However, when I moved it the site broke and I got the following error – Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘function’ (T_FUNCTION) in /home/aaa.ente/public_html/private/wp-content/themes/dang/inc/jetpack.php on line 1. I had to rename the Blackbeard and Zerif-life files in order to access the admin and move everything back to staging directory, but all of my customizations are going to be lost, and if I redo them in the same theme I have no guarantee that it won’t just break again. Please help.

I really like the input for the widget data and dont’t want to lose this possibility because otherwise I would have to write a plugin for that myself.

I would really like to make the text of the big title section to make it smaller and to make it title case instead of all upper case.

Anyone have any ideas on how i can do this?

I have my main page set up the way I want it, but when I add other pages for content, they have a blog style white background. I want to add a background image for these pages or at least change the background color.

There is a “featured image” function but using it doesn’t seem to change anything.

I’m using ZBlackbeard for a site and Polylang Plugin to translate it.

However, the site is not Translated fully by Polylang.

The Big Title and Subtitles are not translated.

These fields for translation does not appear at Translate Polylang tab.

I used Polylang at another site with Zerif Lite Theme and works fine. But at ZBlackbeard, it is not working completely.

Can you help me please? What I missed? =)

I’m trying to add Schema Markup to my site.

I need to add itemprop="name" to the <title> tag.

I added itemprop=”name” to the <title> tag in header.php, however, it is now showing up in the source code.

I just installed WordPress (BlueHost/MOJO Marketplace) and the ZBlackbeard theme, but the front page isn’t the nice scrolling one-page site shown in the demos, but a very plain sample page.

I see the controls to edit the fancy page, but I can’t make it appear in the site. What am I missing?

When viewed from a mobile phone, the theme doesn’t have the nice typography of the parent.

The paragraphs are too closely together and some sentences are justified, making it look weird.

Because of these texts are crammed.

I’ve dug into the css but seems like no alteration was done in this child theme. So, in theory it should have the nice look from the parent (Zerif-Lite). But well, it doesn’t.

Can someone give a fix to this problem?

It is my own site. My own attempt at wordpress.

I am trying to get the sidebar that is in this theme to appear on all the shop pages only. I am sure the theme has a side bar as i can customise it but i have no idea how to get it to appear on the shop pages. I love that your theme does not have the sidebar on the home page but it would be really useful on shop pages.
