I am new to building a site in WordPress. I’m using the Writers Haven template which I love (and I have Elementor), and managed to get the entire site built out, but realize I did so by customizing the template. I thought I had it fixed by creating net new pages but they are showing up as posts. I need someone with more expertise than me to fix this. help!

I am using the Writer Haven themes and have been working through setting up my website. However when i preview what i have done i just see the original template page with all the template content and formatting and nothing that i have changed shows up apart from my logo.

I’m new to WordPress but i have gone through the troubleshooting for this issue, cleared Cache and deactivated all the plugins etc. I pin pointed it to an issue with the theme as when i change the theme to the Twenty Twenty theme as per one of their suggestions my edits are showing in the preview. So they say it a theme specific problem. Can someone please help it is driving me crazy and wasting so much time!
