I was looking for a onepage free theme that could be easily customized. After testing many I found out about Elite and it seemed to have all that I needed.
It wasn’t easy at the beginning but after sometimes you get used to how it works and you can edit almost anything. The support forum was very good and helpful, and it’s a big plus for a them.
I decided to give a 3 stars though because of some serious week points that could discourage most of the people while using it. This is a theme that requires patience and a lot of backing up of the code for every move you are attempting. In fact the page builder (which is an extra plugin developed by the same team) is extremely buggy, which often broke the website and required to go one step back and try again. Often when I was changing something on a specific element, other element were changing as well, or I would find duplicates or the same element completely erasing something else.
Also the contact form plugin that comes with this theme is broken, and you will have to use something else. They stopped the development of both pagebuilder and contactform plugins, so no chance this problems are going to be fixed.
The final result looked nice but it really required a lot of extra work because of bugs. So it’s not for everybody.
Too bad because I believe it’s good so much potential and it would really beat the competition of others free onepage templates.

I got an error during installation but support team did help me out quickly. The design is nice and clean, it also has a page builder plugin. For me it’s great as a free theme.

After activating it completely broke my website.
Error was something like redeclare wr_elite_wp_title() (previously declared in /usr/local/pem/vhosts/….
Had to use an FTP client to manually delete the theme folder after which wordpress came back to life.

Needs two additional plugins to function.
Can’t import data.
Support unexistant : only replies on support forums are “I’m transmitting your feedback to our development team“.
Disappointed ??
Add : Their new version (1.5) crashed my server and created infinite loop of error.
Don’t install !!!
