I received an email with SEO concerns that the font on my site was too small. I checked it out and realized the font in the navigation and in body font. The font type also changed from Open Sans and Esteban to Arial. On the backend, everything is the same as before. How can I fix this?

How can I delete the animation on the “About” section. All the other animations are great, I’d just like to get rid of that one.

How can I resize the header for mobile? Also the parallax images doesn’t show on mobile.

There are also a few images on my frontpage which scale up and down on mobile.

The issue I’m having is that the edits I make are not showing on the live website.
For example, in attempts to customize the theme / Appearance/Banner Settings/Frontpage custom banner setting I want to delete the Sub Title heading and instead use the Main Title Heading. Upon publishing those changes, it shows the changes in the Dashboard but on the live website it doesn’t.

Also, in customizing the appearance I want to “Hide” the Frontpage Page Content Section. Even though the section is checked to Hide it still shows on the site whatever I do.

Please know that I’ve spent hours with my host making sure that the issue is not with the servers, cache, etc.

Hi there, I do love your theme and I am thinking about purchasing the pro version. Most problems I can sort out…however, this one has stumped me. The Featured Image, which is set on the /jewellery/ page and is the correct aspect ratio on there, is the wrong aspect ratio on the Frontpage Featured Section. It only does this with this one image, the other two images either side are correct.

I’ve tried deactivating Site Origin; deleting the image from the server and replacing it; uploading the image with a different name and resizing it within WP all to no avail! I feel there might be an issue with the database, but I don’t know.

BTW I moved this image-page to the middle of the Frontpage Featured Section so it looked deliberate! Do you have any suggestions on hoe to resolve this issue?

I have the free version and I understand that the parallax background effect doesn’t work on a mobile device. However, would it work on a mobile device for the paid version?

Can you help me to change the background color in drop down menu on my website? I was trying to change on white – it helps, but only if you not touch scroll on your mouse. When I’m trying to scroll down it apears transparent. How to fix it?

Sorry to trouble you but I am new to this and am struggling. I have looked through the documentation and googled and yet to solve my issue.

On my frontpage I have three broken image icons showing up when I open the site in the google chrome browser. The issue is there is no broken image linked to each of these areas so I’m not sure how i’m getting a broken image icon and only in one browser.

Any ideas on what I am missing?

I’m wondering if someone could help with a problem on the front page of my site.

There is a grey space between “Connect With Us” and “Our Sponsors” also between “Beech Litter Pickers” and “Contact Us” sections on the front page.

I tried to install ‘The Events Calendar’ plugin on WP simple theme, but it doesnt work for me. I also tried a fresh installation of WP, Simple Theme and only The Events Calendar plugin, but still no success. Whatever category I link with an event, it just shows the standard posts page with some kind of dummy entry.
Does anybody else have experience with WP Simple and The Events Calendar plugin ?
I tried to switch to other themes and then the plugin works.
Would be great to find a way to get this properly working. Thanks in advance !

there was already a very similiar topic, but merely without solution: qtranslate-on-wp-simple

I started using qtranslate x plugin on WP simple theme, and it works everywhere but not on the start page. If I have a look at the links of the language selector on the start page, it links like PATH_ON_HOMEPAGE/#English respectively PATH_ON_HOMEPAGE/#Deutsch while on all other sites, it links correctly like PATH_ON_HOMEPAGE/en/NAME_OF_SITE respectively PATH_ON_HOMEPAGE/de/NAME_OF_SITE

Seems to be the same issue as in the topic mentioned above.
Interestingly, if I add a language selector in any other part of the theme by adding this as widget to the particular section, it links correctly. But at the moment it’s no option for me to have the selector somewhere else than in the main menu.
Can anybody assist here ?
This was also the same with former wordpress versions…

Since I updated to WP 4.8.1 my video widget is not longer working. What I have currently uploaded are working but if I wnat to edit the title of the video or use a fresh video widget to add a new – the screen is blank. Only shows the 3 options to the right side bar of design, layout and attributes.
Anyone else experience this and is there a work around?

I’d love to change the text in the featured sections ‘About Natasha’ and ‘Personal Training’ so that it’s a description of the page as opposed to an extract. Alternatively, add ‘read more…’ to the current text underneath the images.
Is this possible?
I’ve changed the meta info in the page itself to the description I’d like, but it’s not changed on the homepage!

I replaced the square text box with our logo as a banner but on mobile, it cuts off the text no matter how small I make it. Is there a better way to add the logo or what is the recommended thing to do in this case?

Is there a way to adjust the banner height. I only want it to be about half the height that it is. I a have scoured all the pages in editor and I’m not having any luck finding where this is.

I have a problem with my menu using WP Simple. On the frontpage the menu works fine. After a click on a menu item it jumps to the corresponding frontpage row.

But, after I entered the blog through a post in the content row, the menu items doesn’t direct to the domain.com/#about links anymore. Right now they direct to the pages. For example domain.com/about.

Any ideas? Thanks.

I am hoping to get some assistance with an issue that I have encountered on website that I am currently in the process of creating. The active theme I am using is ‘The Simple’ them and the issue I am trying to address is on the main blog page where all of the blog posts are displayed.

The layout I have chosen is the Pull-Page Innovative style which is meant to display the full-page images in the background of each post / section. However, I have found that from 960px – 0px, the page no longer renders anything except for the company logo. I have made sure that none of the classes / attributes I have added in my stylesheet are conflicting with the elements on this page. This is the only page that this issue is arising on which is quite puzzling.

Many similar cases I have found online were caused by conflicting plug-ins that had been installed. I am going to try deactivating the plugins that have been installed recently to see if that makes a difference.

Has anyone else been faced with this particular issue or anything alike? If so, how did you go about solving it?

So far everytime I try to convert to Simple Pro it deletes all my theme customizations. So I’m starting from scratch. I’ve spent way too much time on the theme already. Is there a way to convert to Pro without losing all my hard work?
