here given the error we get on the php 8.2.0 version and WordPress latest version please give some solution to it

Hi,

The categories and menu items stopped showing up at at the top of the page today. Now it is showing that there has been a crticial error with the site. I made no changes. Could it be an issue on the hosting provider’s side?

Great theme, I use it as a research tool for WordPress website development here: Vectra Web Design
The only thing is that changing the categories sort order is cumbersome when you add new cattegories or sub categories. I found a great plugin that can do it by dragging and dropping: WP Term Order Makes life so easy ??

How can one easily style the theme in the following way:

1. Remove the large search bar on top in order to replace with a post slider
2. Increase the category widgets to 3 per row
3. Display recent comments and their respective articles/discussion in the Forum without an active bbPress installed

Really excellent knowledge base theme, but there is one slight issue.

Normally the “Next article” button for most websites is always on the right, but in your theme, it is on the left.

To go to the next article, you have to click the button on the left instead of the button on the right which is counter intuitive. Is there anyway to reverse this.

One other question is, can the sidebar be on the left instead of on the right. Most wikis have the links on the left and not the right.

Can anyone help me with this problem. I am having this large space between the content and footer. This happens when I installed Tabs plugin. I have tried VARIOUS Tabs plugin and it seems that this white spaces disappears when deactivating the plugin. This never happens on home page or any page without the Tab function.

In Chrome, the white space will go away after a refresh, but on IE and Firefox, it is not the case.

Is it possible, instead of using the full Knowledge Base page template, to display specific categories on a page? We’d like to create a page called “Support” that lists all KB articles with the category “support” for example.

I’ve set up an Image URL in every Category and they show up on the home page – https://puu.sh/pH4Ie/011dd720b2.jpg

But when I click on the category to list all its posts, the image is substituted with some kind of icon (https://puu.sh/pH4MP/d79123f865.png).

Is there any way to have the same Image at Home Page and Category page from the URL I specified in the settings?

is there anyway of accessing the stats for when people tick this article was helpful so can report on it.

only way i can see if viewing each article to see how many times its been ticked which is not idea as we grow the site.

If this cant be done is there any plugin that can do this or do simlar job and provide the stats

Ive managed to change some colors via custom css plugin the way i want, works on pc’s browsers, but i cant seem to located the mobile version, cause the colors look very different on mobile platforms. not when scaleing the window on pc though.

I am trying to create a child theme.
I have created a folder and included the required files: style.css and function.php (with the style enqueuing).
But when I activate it, most if not all of the styling is lost. I guess I missed some of the dependencies.
Would you have any advice? Thanks.

In the theme function ipt_kb_scripts, the wp function get_stylesheet_directory_uri is called to create the uri of each file. When the theme is extended by a child theme get_stylesheet_directory_uri points to child theme’s directory and not the parent. Change get_stylesheet_directory_uri to get_template_directory_uri to keep it pointing to parent whether it’s extended or not by a child.

So far, I am loving this site. But for my purposes, I really do not want two things that I cannot get ride of.

On the default page, I would like not to have Recent Articles nor Popular Articles. Neither makes any sense in context of my audience.

On the post template, I would like to get rid of the thumbs up button, the count of who liked the article and also get rid of the block about the author.

Can I get rid of these things? And, if I do, will they come back when I do a future update of the theme or will they persist through any updates?

Yea! No Child theme support, I would put this in review, but I just want to inform you guys that No Child theme support for this good Theme

Just uploaded WP Knowledge Base iPanel theme by swashata and am unable to add a Favicon or Header image in Chrome or Firefox because the theme requires you to crop the file, and each time I receive error “There has been an error cropping your image.”

I am unable to submit posts on https://ipanelthemes.com/kb/support/ and am hoping this will find others that have experienced the same issue.

I put the Affix widget in all of the sidebars and it never shows up in any post. Website is jerryzarley.org and I created a “test” post to see how it works, and nada. What am I doing wrong?

I am adding categories to the primary menu. There are multiple levels of sub-categories and I want to show these as drop down in menu. I observed currently the theme supports 2 levels only – the main category and one sub-category. Please help me to overcome this restriction and create as many levels as required.

I have two categories on my site that are necessary to keep, but should not be displayed on the site’s homepage. How do I modify either the child theme’s functions.php or template-knowledgebase.php to exclude those two categories?

I have already tried several plugins supposed to exclude categories from the homepage (such as Advanced Category Excluder, Ultimate Category Excluder, and WP Exclude From Homepage) and they do not work.

I have also tried code snippets in functions.php, such as the one below, that several sites recommend to exclude categories from the homepage. This code also does not work.

In the knowledge base landing page. A suggestion if its not yet possible is if we can have the popover box to disappear if the mouse has clicked outside the box. I am trying to avoid a scenario where multiple popover boxes will display at the same time. I want only one popover box to show.
