I really like the adaptation of bootstrap that you have made. A great starting point.

I have two issues that I am trying to resolve:

1. I would like to remove the sidebar and any blog components from the woocommerce pages. I have actually recently created a wordpress theme from scratch where I have been able to accomplish this by adding a php code snippet in functions.php, HOWEVER that has not worked in wp_bootstrap_4. Everything I have tried so far, looking in all parts of the theme, has not worked. I am using ver 1.0.9.

Could you please direct me to where I would make these changes and how? BTW I like to hand code and use as few plugins as possible, preferring to dig into and roll around in the code itself ;^).

2. The second item is related to the navwalker and wordpress menus. I am attempting to add icons in the navagation menus and items using fontawsom. I’m having no success. Bootstrap has this native ability, however I have read that the menus used with wordpress need to be “filterable”. Is there a way that I can include this bootstrap capability?

1) There is a huge gap I can’t seem to get rid of: See above Google Map.

2) I want to make my 3 rows with the images and text the same height to what I spesify and the images must fill the column it is in…don’t know I am making myself clear enough…

The Theme works wonderfull, but I am missing a few Translations in german Language (Comment for example).
What would be the best way to make the Translation?
Putting a .po-File oder use a Module?

On larger screens the slider shows a button with continue reading but on smaller screens the button disappears. I take it that it is an @media query but I can’t seem to find it anywhere. Any clues?

I have recently upgraded the blogs theme from Twenty Twelve to WP Bootstrap 4.

Twenty Twelve had the side bars the central blog posts AND ALL the comments in generic white boxes in full view for browsers to read even with a background image.

WP Bootstrap 4 has the side bars and the central blog posts in generic white boxes in full view BUT NOT the comments with a background image… The comments are still there but without the generic white box, no one can read them.

I like the new theme, but I need to be able to read the comments, as well as browsers.

Do I go back to twenty twelve or can this missing generic white box to hold comments in be sorted somehow.

Any help appreciated.

I really like the theme but have a few questions:

Mobile

• Carousel: How can I change the height of the carousel for mobile only? I feel the height is a little bit to high.
• Header size: Similar to the carousel, I would also like the post header size which looks a little big too big on the phone compared to the rest of the text. Where can I do that?

Navbar

• Search box: Is it possible to include the searchbar in the navbar? I can add links to the home page, contact us, etc. via the Menu options, but I would also like to see the search bar at the top rather than in the side menu. I found this link (https://github.com/wp-bootstrap/wp-bootstrap-navwalker/issues/58), but don’t know where I would add the code from the last post
• Custom navbar items: It’s possible to link to individual posts in the top navbar. What I would like is a Recent posts link, that would show the last 5 posts when hovering over it. I know that bootstrap has this functionality so I was wondering if I can add that as well.
• Remove navigation: The folder structure and in particular the page-templates folder contains files for left-sidebar, right-sidebar, and no-sidebar. Where do I activate those? Other themes have a layout option, but I can’t find the same for this tab when customizing.

The feature image at the top of each page is too dark and I would like to lighten each one up. When I change the opacity to lighten the image, I also change the opacity of the text in the jumbotron. How do I just change the image?

Whats the best way to push down the jumbotron when the mobile nav is clicked? “navbar-toggler”

Right now it just overlays on top of the jumbotron.

I’m using Elementor with your theme, and so far it’s been working beautifully. However, I’m unclear about how to style the Posts page. How do I assign the Elementor Canvas Layout to the Posts page so that I can customize the design? This is the page I designed to be the blog page: https://www.cindylaifitness.com/personal-trainer/fitness-tips/. But, when I point the Blog Posts to that page, it defaults to the Bootstrap theme.

Have tried literally 10 different enqueues for a child theme and everyone of them shows two stylesheets for in the head –
