I created a Menu in Worpress. I am asked that a Menu item be separated from other items. To do this, it must be on the far left:

To achieve this result, I created an empty link and wrote   several times.

The difficulty with this “solution” is that depending on the computer, the last item may end up on the line.

Do you have a more lasting solution?

The corporate recent posts block is not displaying recent posts, just the block title. It was working then stopped for some reason.

The standard recent posts block does show the posts but not using the corporate block.

Any ideas?

I recently update my wen-corporate theme from Version 1.0.1 to Version 1.9.2. The way to add content to the homepage in Version 1.0.1 was to add widgets to the “Front Page Widget Area”, then these Widgets would appear in the home page as content. Widgets such as “Corporate Divider Widget”, “Corporate Divider Widget”, etc, where the main Widgets that made up the Homepage. After the theme update for version 1.9.2, my homepage only displayed the text: “[Blank] Content in widgets”. All the other content would not display, though, the widgets were still existing and still contained the previous input I had entered. I have tried many ways to fix this issue but cannot find a fix. Is version 1.0.1 & version 1.9.2 backwards compatible pertaining to the way the Homepage is edited in this theme. Thanks in advance!

I have created a sidebar for the pages that has three widgets: recent posts, categories and archives. But they do not appear on the pages.

In customizer I get this message:Your theme has 2 widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.

What am I doing wrong?

How can I add related posts with thumbnails below blog posts? I have looked online and there are various bits of .php code which are meant to work when added to the single.php file, but sadly none seem to work.

I have selected on un-categorized posts that I want featured images to appear on the Slideshow. However, I want my categorized posts to have featured images to appear on the WEN Corporate Recent posts Widget block. When I apply featured images to either of these categories, the images set appear on the slideshow. How do I get around this?

My site has gone on the fritz.. all the pages are still there, but only 2 are visable on the home page & the drop downs don’t work.

The links for pages Shop, Links, History, Gallery, Members Area are saved & showing up if you know the link & go to it, but they are not showing on the home pages main bar. All the pages are saved & say they are visable to the public & the parent links are all there???

I have tried creating a new page & that didn’t show up either. I have refreshed the links & republished etc.. still nothing.

1 of the 2 pages that is still showing is countries, that should have drop downs but they don’t work, countries will take you to a country, but then the options to drill down further are gone, despite the pages still all being there & configured properly..

This all started after my site started having issues with some of it’s layout, & no matter what I did & options I selected I got no result.

For Example:

At the bottom of the page is our disclaimer & copyright notice that appears on ever page, instead of it nicely going over 2 lines, it goes along half the page then drops a line so it is over 4 lines.

Same is happening with the links on our link page, we have pictures for links & they only go across half the page before dropping down to a new line. Strange think is, the Gallery page (it’s currently hidden) is set up in exactly the same way as the link page, but the pictures go all the way across the page.. All settings etc are exactly the same.

Lastly, we can only change the border colour.. we wanted to change the white section of the pages but are unable to find anyway to do it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Running wp when this theme is active throws a fatal error:

PHP Fatal error:  Call to a member function get_option() on a non-object in /srv/www/wordpress-default/wp-content/themes/wen-corporate/inc/theme-functions.php on line 14

When using a plugin such as Menu Icons, the Icon field and placement both show up in Menu Structure tool, but the modified icons do not show up on Social Menu. Theme is WEN Corporate. Modified icons do work if Menu is placed elsewhere, e.g., in Footer.

Plugin developer (Menu Icons) advises to make sure that the active theme is using the default walker for displaying the nav menu. If it’s using its own custom walker, advise to make sure that the menu item titles are filterable.

I would like to make the slider image size bigger or the size of the text over the slider images to be made smaller as right now the text is getting cut and is not readable in the mobile site.

I am running WEN Corporate them and are using SO Blog Style One. I wish to remove or hide just the authors name and keep the date and tags.

I can hide this all using CSS, but cannot figure out how to just target the author or where it is being generated from.

This should be simple but I’m having a hard time figuring it out. I’m trying to add a bulleted list to a page and for some reason the bullets aren’t showing up. The page is:

I have a child theme and I’m overriding ul and ol but I can’t get bullets to show up. I can get the margins and other things to change so I’m pretty sure I’ve got the right CSS tag.

I was wondering if it was possible to insert a hyperlink into the Copyright text field under Theme Options > Footer? I tried inserting html but the actual html code showed up on the page. I also tried using a text widget but that made the footer box much larger in the vertical dimension and the text showed up as black. Below is the website.

Hi, I’d like to be able to make the font for the text under the Corporate Service Widgets slightly larger. What would be the CSS for this? I can find the header title CSS in the file but not for the text underneath them.

I’m doing a site where they will not be doing any blog posts. Right now I have some temp slider images set up on some empty blog pages. Is it possible to either:
1. Set the slider so that it does not link to the blog post pages (in other words, I don’t want someone to click on an image and be taken to a blank blog page)
or
2. Set up the slider using images that are on regular, non-blog pages which would be the preferred solution. I have the images on the empty blog pages set to the “slider” category but I don’t find any way to do that on the regular text pages.

1. I can’t find the widget that has the splash screen function shown in nearly every theme you guys design. What widget is it?

2. Would like to replace icons in the social bar with my own images, not sure where to go to assign specific img to specific link in the social bar menu.

Is it somehow possible to use my own images instead of the fontawesome icons in the services module? ??
Maybe by changing the CSS?

Hi, I’m using the Wen Corporate theme on GoDaddy Managed WordPress sites and have two issues:

1. Is it possible to center the main menu on the home page?

2. I added a text widget in the footer. Is it possible to style that text so it’s much smaller?
