I’m using a child version of the VW Landing Page theme.

Since the theme’s last theme update, I’ve been having problems with the mysimplewp plugin shortcode dialog box which displays over the text editing area in the Classic Editor. I didn’t mind all that much because I mostly use the Block Editor, but my customer will use the Classic Editor to add her blog content, and this issue will have to be fixed.

Another person has raised the flag in a WP support forum, but they told him that it was probably a theme issue, although he seems to be using a different theme. Can you help me fix this please? If it can be fixed with a PHP snippet, I can add it to my child theme’s function file.

I am getting a double scroll bar on my page when I use the Landing Page theme. When I change to the default theme twenty twenty, it appears normal. Any help you can provide is greatly appreciated.

As we set up this site, I realised that many of the icons on the page are displaying as a box ( ? ). This includes:

telephone & Email icons on top bar
the social widget/link icons (facebook twitter etc). I disabled these so it doesn’t look cluttered.

And in a mobile, the icon for the main menu is also a box with a cross inside (? ).

Many of my clients couldn’t work out that was the menu button and were only able to access the welcome page of the site.

It seems this might be an easy fix. Maybe the icon jpgs were not loaded in the new update of the theme?

Please let me know if there’s anything I can do on my end to fix this issue.

Just noticed the sudden appearance of a scroll button at the bottom right hand side of my site. A search button also mysteriously appeared but I was able to disable it in settings. Can’t seem to find where I would disable the scroll button though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

I am unable to get the slider or any of the Sections to appear when I do a “Live Preview” of the VW Landing Page theme. I have followed the documentation, but have had no luck.

I am currently using a theme by a different company and do NOT wish to activate the VW theme until I have seen the features via the “Live Preview” option in the WordPress dashboard.

Is this a known issue? Can someone from the VW technical team please help me?
