Hey there and thank you for this theme!! I really love it.

I’m trying to make the entire Services Div to be a link.

I’d like to modify the fp-services-type-a.php to add the link.

When I put this file in my child-theme, it will not overwrite the parent theme file.

I have tried 2 ways: 1. Using the same folder directory as the parent
and 2. Placing the revised file in the root of the child theme.

I have searched high and low and can’t find out why my child theme isn’t overriding the parent file with the file in my child theme.

is there a specific function that i need to add to my child theme function.php that will override the parent file with my new/revised file?

Just a quick question… how do I add the customer testimonials like you have on the home page of the demo? In the widget it says “add some testimonials from your admin area” but I’m not sure where in the admin area to add them.

Is there any way to tweak the template to associate different URLs to the 5 call to action buttons in the header slideshow?

In this theme I can add up to 5 slides to the header, but there is only one option to insert the URL associated to the call to action button.

Let me know, if there is a code for custom CSS plugin that would be great!

I am using VerySimpleStart theme with WordPress 4.4.2 version. Installing the plug-in “Types – Custom Fields and Custom Post Types Management” gives me a White Screen of Death. Is it a know issue and is there any solution for it?

I like the Theme very much, but i want to change the height of the Header Slider. I found a function to fix the size of the header image but not to change the size (Height) of the slider.
Is it possible to limit the height?

I am using the VerySimpleStart theme which comes with a button in the header slider area (Header is a scrolling image). I would like for this to happen when I click the “Call To Action” button: -The page scrolls down to blog part of the page

In the custom theme area, I can assign where this button takes me (i.e. a URL).
Is there a way I can use the URL to make it scroll down? Or do I need to go into the code to edit?
