On the home page at “Front page icon colums” I would like to change the icons.
The usable icons are on this site: https://fontawesome.io/icons/.
But these do not want to load? It remains blank?
Can anyone help me?

Is there a reason only two levels of sub menus are displayed? Even though there is a 3rd level configured in the menu settings.

Hi there!! The default for this theme is a menu with logo/name at left, and menu on right. I want menu centered at top of page with logo at center and menu items evenly spaced on left and right (3 and 3). How to do this?

Also, my logo currently doesn’t fit. I have default header in place and logo is too large and runs over. How to make more space on menu so logo fits?

In posts created in Classic Editor (which is all posts on my Vega site), text styled as bold is not rendering as such. It doesn’t seem to matter whether the bold text is created on the Visual or Text tab of the Classic Editor (which makes sense, since the same <strong>content</strong> HTML tags are created either way). Mysteriously, italics still work fine.

I tested this in multiple browsers, checked my additional CSS and typography settings in Customize, and tried activating a couple of plugins that seemed the most likely culprit for this type of problem, but nothing fixed it until I switched to a default theme, so it does seem to be a Vega issue.

Any thoughts about what could be causing this type of issue?

I’ve added child links to a parent menu item and now the parent item is not linkable. Need the parent to still be clickable. Thanks

I’m wanting to customize the Front Page – Icon Columns. When I go to Appearance > Customize > Front Page > Front Page – Icon Columns > General, there is no option to have 7 columns. In addition, Icon Column 7 does not appear as an option to edit/link a page to! As a result, I can edit Icon Columns 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 8, but the Icon Column 7 remains as the sample “Hello World” post. Any help would be greatly appreciated ??

I’m using Vera Theme. There’re some large space between lines in widget > default side bar under Post and Page area. Please see here.

I have created some content for the “front page – main content area” and when I try to select a different page on the “front page – cta section” it keeps showing the same content from main content area… this happens also when I try to select a page for “front page – cta section #2”.

So the top part in the picture is “main content area” and the bottom part is “cta section”, even though I have selected a different page for “cta section” it doesn’t change.

I’m not sure why this is happening and I would like to resolve this asap,

I have a Front Page banner, size 635w x 150h
The top 1/3 is covered by the Primary Menu located in the Header Menu location.
I have “FrontPage>FrontPage Header>Image Banner (parallax)”
The image goes full width side-to-side, and the bottom edge of the image is visible, but the top is hidden. I have a screen shot, but there is no way to attach it to this thread. To see it, go here https://eliantservices.com/screen.png

Yesterday I updated some plugins, and the main WordPress to version 5.6. After that the parallax background were gone. Only a grey background left. :-/

I see the URLs of the JPG pictures in the source of the website, but not shown.

At the “Front Page – Banner” section I can’t do anything. But I recognized, when I turned off the parallax effect at the “CTA Section Content”, the pictures shows again. But the parallax effect not working of course.

I started to read about the version 5.6 of the WordPress, I found somewhere that the parallax effect not working anymore. Is it right?

I had a backup, so I restored the site at localhost. First I updated the plugins, the parallax pictures shows right. But when I updated the WordPress from 5.5.3 to 5.6, the parallax pictures gone at localhost too.

Is there anybody else who has the same problem?
May I expect an update on Vega theme?

I am using Vega on a 2nd website. I am having problems removing the 4 column footer (Pages/Recent Posts/Categories/Meta) altogether, not sure what setting i used on my first site to accomplish this. Can you please point me in the right direction? I didn’t add widgets in appearance/widgets. The only difference between my first and second site is that the first does not display Footer Col 1/2/3/4 in Appearance/Customize/Widgets, while the 2nd site does. Not sure how to remove it there.

I have moved my website from localhost to a webhosting but the header image is not showed since it is still pointing to localhost.
I have changed in the DB the localhost url for my domain url with a sql query but for some reason the header image url has not been changed.

I have searched in config files for some entry related to header image but I could not find anything, however i have searched in DB and i have found 3 entries for the header image pointing to localhost in “wp_options” table in the field “theme_mods_vega”, but when I change the url manually the result is that I get a different theme configuration and my menus and side bars misconfigured.

I will appreciate any help since I have searched on Google but I have not been able to find any help.

I just start using vega and wordpress and i’m looking to ajust the width of the article in the front page. The width is only half of the screen and i find it too small.

How could i do ? I was trying to edit the .container width in the css but it didn’t work.

Very much a beginner, so I appreciate any help.

I have an issue with the “Image One Half-Width” in the content builder of one of my pages.

I currently need some help with a small annoyance in the formatting in the two blurbs of the attached page. I would like to have the paragraph written in the content builder be in line with the top of the photo to allow for more copy before it starts to dip below the picture.

Can I be directed to where I can delete the empty space above where the paragraph starts?

I just wanted to update my wp site to the latest version of the theme.

But… if I do that, everything fails – the frontpage fx. will show all pages as menu items on the whole screen.

Any solution to this problem?

At the footer of my page, too many page links shown there. How to show and hide the page link that I want?

I made some simple changes to some headings on my front page (via front page edit) and it completely deleted a huge chunk of my front page coding. The primary photos disappeared, all the blog pasts. I was pretty much left with a footer. This happened 4 weeks ago and my website provider kindly reinstalled the previous days version of my website which fixed the issue. However now I cannot do any edits in fear of it happening again. Any ideas, what caused this and how I can get to the bottom of the issue?

For some reasons comments have been switched off or aren’t working on old posts on my website. If I publish new posts it is working fine. I’ve check individual and overall settings and comments are switched on. I uninstalled jetpack to see if it would make a difference but it didn’t.

Any suggestions?

Hi, we’re having a problem with the mobile menu on our site. It’s a child theme for Vega.

When you click on the hamburger to open the mobile menu, it flashes open for a moment and then promptly closes again. We’re just using the default menu for the theme.

I am not seeing any errors in the browser console that would explain this behavior. Is this something you have seen before? Apparently it’s not new behavior, but my users just informed me of it.

I am using the Vega theme in a bilingual blog. I am using Polylang (it supports translation of strings) to add support for multiple languages. It can translate e.g. site name and description in many other themes, but Vega seems immune??? Maybe Vega does not somehow register its strings properly, or what might be the cause? Any idea on how to proceed?

(And oh, I can’t find the Polylang language picker in the custom menu builder, but that’s a minor issue. I can use widgets instead.)

I would like to have our webstore open in a new tab. The “Own link” dialog in Vega doesn’t seems to support this target=”_blank” option.

Hello, Im having problem with content showing in CTA section, I would like that there is only background picture, at the moment it shows content from 4 columns ( page that is linked before the last one in columns, no matter how many columns are shown its always content from before the last one ).
CTA isn’t linked to any page its on “select” and if I choose link it to some of the pages it doesn’t display content from that page..

Is there any way to have CTA only with background picture, Im pretty sure that it was only picture before I started to add new pages, so its probably some option that I have clicked?…

From plugins Im using Elementor and Yoast SEO.
